WOYWW 484

It's Wednesday and that means a visit to Julia's lovely blog and lots of other lovely crafting spaces to explore and enjoy. If you don't know what I'm talking about, the head over to WOYWW 484 at Julia's lovely blog and find out ... and I hope you'll join in the fun.

I missed last week's WOYWW. I've been quiet on my blog for the last couple of weeks because I've been busy making more Christmas cards ready for the Macmillan coffee morning that's being held here on Friday 21 September. It's a week early because the manager of our retirement flats will be on holiday the next week ... the earlier date made me go into panic mode - lol!

You will see that I have stuff all over the place ... it's mainly Christmas stuff. You can't see inside, but the box to the left of the computer has Christmas cards ready to be put into packs (5 the same in each) - so far I've managed to make 25 packs. Next will be the job of putting inserts in and then a very kind friend has offered to label and bag them ... I'm so grateful for that offer.

So here is my workspace today:

Hope to see you at WOYWW 484.

  1. So glad the reason for your absence has been that you were busy and not ill, nor your DH ill either. Good to see you back and good to see your busy desk.

  4. A very neat desk. You are not to panic, all will be well you are too well organized not to have everything ready, and it will sell so fast.

  9. Djee, that's quite a task you have to manage, do you feel like celebrating Christmas when December comes? I might be tired of it by then... Glad that a friend offered to help. Have a great day, hug from Holland. Marit #18

  10. Gosh Hazel, that amount and that sudden date is enough to make anyone go into panic made. I think you’ve triumphed! Your workspace still looks pretty in control to me, but I expect you’ll be delighted to clear it up and tick the list!

  11. I'd be in panic mode if I had an early date to complete so many cards. Five of each would be about right for me. I hate making just one of anything. It's good to see you back at your desk, though. Sorry I was late visiting. Happy belated WOYWW from #3.

  13. Sorry i'm so late Hazel, it's a little chaotic my end. What a kind gesture from your friend to help out with the cards but even kinder that you have made so many cards for a worthy cause. Well done and all the best with those sales.
