The London Palladium


This is a commissioned card for a lady's 70th birthday - she was a Tiller girl at the London Palladium in the 1970s - the person who asked me to make the card thought that the recipient was actually one of the girls in the photo that I'd incorporated digitally on to the 'Sunday night at the London Palladium', adding the birthday greeting.

I inked the card blank with mustard seed distress ink. I was told that the lady was a fan of Jim Dale and Freddie and the dreamers, so I incorporated pictures on the inside of the card.

The inside was decorated with some Papermania lemon sorbet papers, with an overlay of vellum gold foiled with best wishes. Flowers added from stash.
