Cheerful stamp pad challenge 113
This is my design card for the Cheerful stamp pad challenge 113: travel to far away places. Once again Lunagirl Moonbeams are sponsoring our challenge. Please click on the links to see the lovely crafting of the rest of the team and we would love to see your 'far away places' entries.
For week one of the Far away places challenge I used part of the Memories of Paris digital collage sheet kindly given to us by Lunagirl, changing the colour to sepia to tone with the Paris Nights papers by g.c.d studios. Ribbon are Papermania, flowers Craftime and the spacers in the centre of the flowers are Prima. The card blank is an A5 side opening one.

Let's craft and create challenge 102
This is my design card for Let's craft and create challenge 102: add some sparkle. Please click on the link to see the lovely crafting of the rest of the team and join in our challenge.
My card is very CAS, using cinnamon sparkle medium with Imaginations Crafts birdcages mask, on to one of their 'autumn orange' card, mounted on to orange mirror card then on to a large square card blank.
This was my first attempt at using sparkle medium (even though I bought it some time ago). I've seen this demonstrated on TV and thought it looked quite easy, but was apprehensive ... but it turned out OK.

Fan-tastic Tuesday 88
This is my design card for Fan-tastic Tuesday challenge 88: anything goes with a twist ... one layer only. Please click on the link to see the lovely crafting of the rest of the team and join in our challenge.
For my card I used Lacy Sunshine 'Azore rainyshine fairy princess', printing this and the quotation directly on to the ivory card blank and colouring with spectrum noir pencils. I used the pencils because alcohol pens show through and I wanted to keep this to definitely one layer.
I'm sharing this on Lacy Sunshine's facebook page.

Buckwells crafts challenge: things with wings
This is my design card for this month's Buckwells crafts challenge: things with wings. Please click on the link to see all the lovely designs of the rest of the team and we would love you to join in our challenge.
For June's Challenge we have the lovely Lynette from Sweet Pea Stamps as one of the sponsors and Lozzy from Buckwell crafts.
Lynette is kindly offering one of the randomly chosen winners 4 of her beautiful images (winners choice). Hope you pop over and take a look at all of gorgeous Rubber Stamps and digi images that you will find at Sweet Pea Stamps.
Unfortunately, there is sad news for Buckwell crafts fans because this month is the last challenge.
For my card I used Janna Prosvirina's 'hot chocolate fairy' digi, which I coloured with chameleon pens, cutting out with an Xcut rectangular parathensis die, sponging with frayed burlap distress ink before removing the image from the die. This was then mounted on to some snowflake vellum, then on to a cream card blank. The hessian and wood and cork and wood butterflies were from Poundland.

A second card for Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper June challenge
This is my second card for my Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper June challenge - please click on the link to discover what this is all about, if you haven't done so already - and please join in my challenge, using any of your patterned paper - anything goes, as long as you use some patterned paper.
The prize this month is:
K & company Roam 6" x 6" paper pad
36 sheets - 3 sheets each of 12 designs
For the second card I used this piece of paper from the K & Co Roam pad:
this time using the same two stamps, but inking with Brilliance pearlescent purple and sprinkling with pearl plum embossing powder and heating. I then swiped across with versamark and lightly brushed some cosmic shimmer sunrise pink iridescent mica pigment over it, which I then buffed up with a tissue. In the process of rubbing the area I accidentally creased the paper in a few places. I ran it through my Xyron adhesive hoping that the creases would press out, but they didn't. In the end I thought it added to the vintage look of the card, so I decided to keep the creases! (instead of starting all over again, having spent quite a long time anyway).
This is also for:

CHNC challenge extra for June 2015
This is my design card for my CHNC challenge extra for June - please click on the link to see the lovely crafting of my team.
For my card I used one of my favourite Bugaboo Stamps digis (Bugaboo, as usual, are sponsoring the challenge with a prize of $21 to spend in their digital online store - so much choice!)/ The digi I used, supplied by Bugaboo stamps, is 'winter birds - skate' - I coloured with spectrum noir pens - all papers are offcuts of My Mind's Eye Christmas lost and found (I'll be really sad when all the other remaining snippets are used up).

The prize this month is:
K & company Roam 6" x 6" paper pad
36 sheets - 3 sheets each of 12 designs
I had two of the K & Co Roam paper pads, so I made two cards using the same two stamps in different ways on two different pieces of paper from the pad.
The first card was created with one of these pieces of paper:
on to which I stamped the Stampington Company 'Leonardo' stamp inked with memento rich cocoa and also the Tim Holtz script stamp. I coloured with copic pens including some pale yelllow over the script - this looks much better irl than it does here.

Completely Christmas challenge 65
This is my design card for Completely Christmas 65: anything goes with a twist ... make it square. Please click on the link to see the lovely crafting of the rest of the team. This is a sad day for Completely Christmas because it is our last challenge.
If this challenge blog has helped you to make your Christmas cards earlier in the year to avoid panic towards the end of the year, there are quite a few other challenge blogs devoted to making Christmas creations, including my own weekly Craftyhazelnut Christmas challenge - this week the theme for CHNC challenge 231 is 'colour it'. I also run the monthly Craftyhazelnut's Christmas challenge extra where it is always 'anything goes' as long as it's Christmas. There are always lovely prizes to be won on both of these blogs.
Back to Completely Christmas challenge 65 - for my card I used a lovely shiny dufex picture of three ships (upcycled from a card received) matted on to an offcut piece of text paper with the words of the Christmas song, which was then mounted on to another Christmas script paper. It is a shame that the photo doesn't do justice to the lovely picture.
