Christmas poinsettia

For this card I've used a stamp that I've had for years. I used to use it a lot, but haven't done so for some time. I inked with memento and coloured with copics. The card shape was ready shaded with green, which I then mounted on to a white card blank and distressed with victorian velvet - probably overdid the distressing because you can't see much of the original green now! The sentiment stamp is from a free set with Quick Cards. I had to add the two little sticker flowers because I smudged some ink from my hand so I needed to cover it up and didn't want to waste the card.

This is for:

Annabelle: say it in red, green and white
Christmas cards all year round July: Christmas flowers
Clear it out: Christmas in July - something red or green or both
Oldie but a goodie: flower power (the stamp is much more than six months old)
Di's digi designs: come and pile on those flowers
Bizzy Becs July: flower power
Love to create 24: 3 of something

  1. Very nice card. Great coloring job and brilliant idea for covering up the smudge. I hate when that happens, lol. Thanks for joining us at the Clear It Out Challenge blog.
