Pink and silver birthday

The striped glittered card is from my offcuts box and the middle panel is upcycled from a card received long ago (too good to get rid of). The pink bead fronds were another bargain buy from Hobbycraft, the pink bow edged with silver was rescued from somewhere, but I can't remember where, so it is upcycled and the butterflies and flowers are mini glitter embellishments from Poundland. The inside of the card was created with an offcut of Hunkydory pink card with silver foiling - I cut the edge with the Happy Birthday Martha Stewart punch.

Some of the silver looks black rather than silver in the photos because I was trying to avoid glare.

Difficult to see the Happy Birthday, so here is a close up, but looks much better in real life because of the silver foiling on the pink that looks black here.

This is for:

Pixie's snippets 134
Glitter n sparkle 94: happy birthday
Di's digi designs: dies and/or punches
Incy wincy: strings and things (ribbon)
Really reasonable ribbon 99: things with wings
Totally gorjuss 245: butterflies
As you like it: favourite sentiment and why - happy birthday, because everyone has a birthday
Aloha Friday 28: favourite colour combo - pink and silver (with a hint of lilac) - one of my favourites
Craft for the craig 6: your favourite colours - pink and silver (with a hint of lilac) - one of my favourites

  4. Great card Hazel! Lovely to see that you're still feeling well enough during the daytime to craft and I do hope your nights are less disturbed now that the antibiotics should have kicked in.
