A few weeks ago I had to make a trip to Hobbycraft, Orpington to get something and I had a look at their sale items. I bought some packs of votive wraps, designed to go round candles for weddings. I've used a couple of the pearlescent ivory heart ones on these two simple cards, cutting off the ends that are supposed to join the wrap around the candle and mounting them on to gold mirror card. The wrap itself has a lovely subtle golden sheen. The pack of the wraps was £1.50 for 20 - bargain!
The gold mirror behind the filigree panels was taken from my offcuts - you can see that one card has a wider band than the other (according to what offcuts I could find).
The Kanban ivory DL cards with the gold foiling around the edges were another bargain as they were £1 for 10 - they are very elegant and expensive looking.
These cards can have appropriate inserts put in for either wedding day or anniversary.
These are for:
Pixie's snippets 134
AAA 12: Inspire - CASing Angela Maine - DL cards
Craft room: wedding, anniversary
My heart pieces: wedding or anniversary
Addicted to CAS 43: celebrate
Sarah Hurley 94: celebration
Clear it out: KISS keep it simple
Addicted to stamps and more 104: CAS
That craft place: anything goes
Charisma cardz 15: anything goes

Absolutely gorgeous, Hazel. I had a pack of these same votive wraps, unopened in my craft box, and I've just used your inspiration to make a very similar card myself.
