CHNC challenge 263: another red card


The challenge for CHNC 263 this week is to use the colour red ... a little or a lot (every second Saturday in the month is going to be a colour challenge this year).

For my second card I have used Stitchy Bear's Digi Outlet Kaz Kraftz Christmas stocking, coloured with spectrum noir pens, kindly supplied by another of our sponsors this week (I tried and tried to get a betterphoto, but couldn't - it looks as if the card is crooked, but it isn't).  I used offcut pieces that I found in my Christmas box, including the paper piecing on the stocking imag - the glittered silver strips were also snippets, not having a full length to go all the way across. The 'fur' on the top of the stocking has been glittered with stickles crystal ice:

  6. What a fabulous Christmas card, I love all the red! The Christmas stocking is fabulous Hazel, I like the addition of the glitter for a little bit of sparkle. Great choice of patterned papers too.
