This is my design card for Suzy Bee's Bloomin' challenge 112: anything goes with a twist ... it's bloomin' cold out there - please click on the link to see the lovely crafting of the rest of the team and join in our challenge - it doesn't have to be for Christmas ... just depicting 'cold'!
The background picture is one that I rescued from a magazine or advertising leaflet (can't really remember, but I kept it because I thought it was too good to put in the paper recycling bin). I stamped the lovely Stampotique snowman by Jo Capper-Sandon, colouring with spectrum noir pens and cutting out carefully, spraying with stick and stay to place it on the main picture. The sentiment is one I've had for ages. I mounted everything on to a shiny black piece of card - unfortunately, you can't see any of the shine here.

Great card Hazel, it makes me think of Frosty the Snowman waiting out in the snowy field for the kids to come by. I love the idea of re-using images from old magazines, and the one you chose made a fabulous background. Very clever!

This is a beauty and love, love, love the scene...We are so blessed you joined our Challenge weeks ago and would love for you to join our new Challenge still ongoing at Word Art Wednesday. Want to leave you with the inspiration of the Scripture in 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 which says, "But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”— these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. " Have a lovely week.
