A long while ago I bought some Magic metal copper, gold and silver sheets. I used some and the rest had been left in the box.
When I saw challenge 6 on
Lots to do, I thought about this and have been meaning to make something for it - and now the whole week has gone past. But here it is at last:

The background paper is BG archaic and the copper sheet has been embossed with a cuttlebug folder and swiped over with terra cotta alcohol ink (has just given the copper a bit of a deeper colour). The metal has then be mounted with the brads, which have more of a metallic sheen irl.
Carolyn's challenge CBCC086 on
CBC is 'metal madness', so this is OK for that.
A very simple card, but I feel that the embossed copper sheet should take pride of place.
Today's challenge on BG is 'hearts': 'As today is a very special day, we would like you to get all loved up in your creations and show us some hearts, it can be any size and any quantity of hearts you wish, and also not forgetting to use at least one item from BasicGrey somewhere on your creation' - so I'm linking this card as there are hearts on the embossing.
And please don't forget my
blog candy.
