CHNC challenge 213

The central piece is from an Echo Park collection, mounted on to a tartan piece rescued from an old card, on to the background paper from the Enchanted Winter paper pad from Hobbycraft.

CHNC challenge 612

The background paper is from the vintage Noel pad by Love to Craft, with a piece of  fancypants winterland across the middle with an oval that was printed and glittered from a set long ago, with a copy of sentiment pieces.

Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper September 2022 challenge

This is my design card for my Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper September 2022 challenge. If you make anything that includes some patterned paper or card you can link your entries. Please click on the challenge link to find out more and join in the fun.

This was a commissioned card to be sent to a daughter-in-law who loves sewing, using Hunkydory patterned card, a page from a magazine on the right hand side of the insert and various bits and pieces from my stash, with the lovely picture of a lady and child that appeared in the Daily Mail.

The fancy ovals for the sentiment were die cut using todo dies, with the printed sentiment quickly covered with detail embossing powder and heat embossed.

This is very similar to a card I showed for my CHNC  challenge 607. As before, I used one of my favourite embossing folders by Lisa Horton, which also die cuts, using gold mirror card mounted on to a black card blank, with the addition of the sentiment and a couple of Italian Options gold poinsettia.

I used one of my favourite embossing folders by Lisa Horton, which also die cuts, using gold mirror card mounted on to a black card blank, with the addition of the sentiment and a couple of Italian Options gold poinsettia.

CHNC challenge 606

The background paper is from a pad from The Works. The lovely image was stamped using the delightful 'carolling penguins' by Penny Black inked with Versafine onyx black and heat embossed with detail black powder, coloured with chameleon alcohol pens, with the hat trimmings covered with glue from a pen with t the addition of Art institute glitter.

This was a commissioned card to be sent to a lady, with the request not to feature flowers. All papers (the squares cut from offcuts, having used some for other cards) are from a Colorways orchid collection from Paper House.

CHNC challenge 605

The background paper is from Dovecraft Festive Wonder, with the lovely Inkadinkado reindeer stamped on o a piece of black sparkly card (much darker than it looks in the photo) with versamark and heat embossed with Wow gold, matted on to gold card, with the addition of the washi tape and sentiment circle.

CHNC challenge 600

For my card I used a paper from Crafter's Companion Decorative Christmas pad, adding the lovely Kanban topper which I bought some years ago, a couple of black sparkly snowflakes from Italian Options and, of course, for the optional theme of the challenge I used some Merry Christmas washi tape top and bottom.

The background is a paper from Crafter's Companion Decorative Christmas, with sparkly snowflakes, with the lovely topper from a Kanban kit from long ago, with the centre raised a bit with 3D foam, with the addition of the gold foiled Merry Christmas circle and with four sparkly black Italian Options foam snowflakes.

A very quick and easy card created digitally with a snowflake background that I've had for ages with the lovely Snow fun free download that I found on the internet.
