Christmas wishes

This is a Christmas card put together with paper from an old kit, with the scalloped circle with glittered bauble and Christmas wishes mounted on to a Dovecraft red doily.

Sunny birthday

Another yellow birthday card, this time based on the sketch for sketch-tanten 45:

The background paper is from Papermania capsule yellow sorbet collection. I randomly stamped the square and the circle with parts of the Penny Black floral silhouette stamp inked with stazon mustard, adding the birthday circle coloured with spectrum noir sunshine pen, also adding ribbon and lace from stash.

A summer daisy birthday

This is for Sketch Saturday 518:

Papers are from Papermania capsule lemon sorbet. I stamped both squares (the base one randomly) using a lovely Magenta daisy inked with memento tuxedo black and colouring with spectrum noir sunshine pen. I coloured the birthday greeting with the pen (this was originally white).

Inspired by a song ... many songs

This card is inspired by many, many songs, sung by a favourite group, The Beatles - as Abbey Road features on the card, I'm choosing the song 'here comes the sun' from that album.

This card was made last year, but never blogged, so I thought it was about time I did so. Of course, this was made for a huge Beatles fan. The disco background card was from Kanban, with playing cards and various other elements added, including the upbload picture with script.
