A man's best friend ...

I've been busy this evening making a few more cards for my Tearfund sale tomorrow and this is one of them, simply made with a Kanban decoupage kit (can't really tell that the picture is decoupaged from the photo, but it is). This is similar to the one I made here - just dogs instead of cats.

This is for:

Bling it on: no patterned papers
Crafty boots: zoo or animal theme
Beary sweet 35: free for all
The paper shelter 35: we love animals
Sisterhood of crafters: birthday celebrations

Ooh la la notebook

Another girlie notebook using glittery stickers from Express yourself DIY on GenerationsNow stacker paper (have had a big pad of these for ages and hardly ever used them).

This is for:

Di's digi designs: girly creations
Prairie fairy Fridays 63: sugar and spice and all things nice
Hooked on craft 9: anything but a card
Cuddly buddly 16: anything but a card

Let it snow ...

This is very similar to the previous card, once again using components from Anna Griffin, this time with two snowflakes - inspired by the song 'Let it snow' (not that I want it to, because I don't!).

This is for:

Jingle Belles is A caroling we will go
Crafty Ann 51: inspired by a Christmas song
Just some lines: reminds me of a song
My mum's craft shop 27: remind you of a song
Glitter geeks 19: two's company - two snowflakes, two design papers
Shelly's terrifically thrilling Thursday: show us your layers - three layers plus the two layers of the decoupaged snowflakes
Flourishes timeless 139: holiday sparkle
Whoopsi Daisy: let's do Christmas
Fab's big Christmas October: something shiny and/or snowflakes

Following yonder star ...

Today's new challenge on Jingle Belles is A caroling we will go - "we're asking you to make a card inspired by any holiday song."

This card made with components from an Anna Griffin kit has a couple of decoupaged stars on it, so it reminds me of We three kings - lots of reference to following the star, including the chorus:

O star of wonder, star of night,
star with royal beauty bright.
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to thy perfect light.
These challenges are also asking for a card inspired by a song:

Crafty Ann 51: inspired by a Christmas song
Just some lines: reminds me of a song
My mum's craft shop 27: remind you of a song

This is also for:

Glitter geeks 19: two's company - two stars, two design papers
Shelly's terrifically thrilling Thursday: show us your layers - three layers plus the two layers of the decoupaged stars
Flourishes timeless 139: holiday sparkle
Whoopsi Daisy: let's do Christmas
Fab's big Christmas October: something shiny and/or snowflakes
