The Glory of Christmas challenge 19: homemade background

It's time for a new challenge on The Glory of Christmas, so for challenge 19 we're asking to see homemade backgrounds. Please click on the link and join in with our challenge. You might like to make your own background with some embossed card or stamping ... or any other method that produces a homemade background.

For my design card I used an Embossalicious 'seasonal music' embossing folder run through my eBosser using some white pearlescent card and brushed the embossed card with broken china distress ink. The snowman is Mr Snowman, a Spellbinders shapeability, cut twice to produce the background as well as the foreground brushed with the distressing ink. The glittery ribbon is some that I've had for quite a while and the Winter Wonderland sentiment is one that has been in a box for ages.

This is also another card for my own CHNC challenge 148: music.
