CHNC challenge 244: use some silver

For my CHNC challenge 244 this week I'm asking you to use some silver on your Christmas creations - a little or a lot. I look forward to seeing your entries. My card is very simple and doesn't involve much silver, but there are dots of silver glitter around the lovely wreath that was rescued from a card received last year. The background paper is from a pack that came free with a magazine some time ago.

Under the weather

This is my design card for Suzy Bee's Bloomin' challenge 95: anything goes with a twist ... create your own background. Please click on the link to see the lovely crafting of the rest of the team and join in our challenge.

I used the lovely Bugaboo Stamps Rainy day bears - rain rain (Bugaboo Stamps are sponsoring the challenge), colouring the image with paint. For the background I embossed some red mirror card using an Embossalicious embossing folder called 'picnic plaid'. The ribbon is some DCWV that I've had for quite some time and fabric buttons from Poundland. The sentiment strips were generated with my Dymo letratag.
