For a grandson

This was a commissioned card for a Grandson who loves horse riding. The main paper is Paper Nation and the piece across the middle from PDA card and craft. I found the picture and mounted it on an offcut, having digitally put the horse silhouette into the picture and added the sentiment before printing.

A similar card to the previous oneI used some chalk board papers for the background and the football one from PDA card and craft. I then added the boots and the ball stickers, the picture of the players and the Kanban sentiment.

For a West Ham supporter

Card made in March for my stepson, a West Ham supporter (yes, there are some - lol!)/ I used some chalk board papers for the background and the football one from PDA card and craft. I then added the boots and the ball stickers, the West Ham strip and the printed sentiment.

For a football fan

A recent commission asking for a card for a young man who loves football. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the Happy Birthday cut out of the card blank, putting a red piece of paper inside the card to show through. The paper with the footballer was from Paper Cellar Men 2 papers and I used a football sticker to put over the one in the picture. I then added the letters and the England footballer strip. It's an 8 x 8 card which gave room to cut with the punch and still have room to put everything else, while keeping some white space.

For a twin sister

This was a special commission during lockdown for a lady who was approaching her 90th birthday and wouldn't be able to meet up with her twin sister, so I was asked to make a special card. I used Hunkydory supplies. On the front, I printed out the sentiment and, as it was on card that has a bit of a gloss, there was time to put silver detail powder on it and heat emboss. This was then cut and embossed with a Spellbinder's oval die, using the next one up to mat on to with 3D tape. To the circle of decoupaged flowers I added the crocheted butterflies.

I was asked to put the message inside: Haven't we done well to get here? Once again I heat embossed with detail silver, embossing and cutting the sentiments using the Spellbinders dies.

Showing back on the left with decoupaged flowers and another crocheted butterfly:

I was told that the lady sending the card and the recipient were thrilled with it.

A big puzzle piece

Using an unknown piece of backing paper, the large jigsaw piece in pink pearlescent was added, with the peacock sticker in the middle and lots of gems.

Quick and simple

Similar to others shown before this was a recent make, using a Kanban topper mounted on to a copper mat and then on to a square from the Crafter's Companion Downton Abbey collection and then on to a dark brown card blank.
