Quick and cute

My Time to Craft challenge 81 this week is 'quick and cute'.

I coloured the stamped image (acquired last year in a swap) with a Sakura glitter pen - shame that on here the super glittery look doesn't show up, neither does the beautiful reflection of the metallic grey mirror card.

This is also for Flourishes 'a season that sparkles'.

Baubles

Week 41 on Fab's Big Christmas is 'baubles or something round':

Plenty of baubles here:

Away in a manger

This card is for sketch 72 on Sketch Saturday:

the sweetest thing 39

This card is for sketch 39 on the sweetest thing (I flipped it sideways):

Gingerbread

The subject for Winter Wonderland challenge 20 this week is 'gingerbread'. I've used English Paper Company papers and on each card I've added a chipboard gingerbread person (can't remember where they came from):

Eskimo kisses

I love doing BG challenges because it's an excuse to cut into some of my fav papers - this card was made for the sketch for week 5:

The papers are eskimo kisses:

Coffee morning

My friend's coffee morning went very well this morning. From the profit of the sale of my cards £50 was given to the work of SAT-7. Thanks to everyone who came along and supported by buying cards.

More Christmas in October

More Christmas cards for La la land 8 and Creative Inspirations 18.

These cards are based on the sketch for CPS 137:

These were made yesterday for today's sale.

No image allowed

'No image allowed' is challenge 38 on Funky Fairys.

The first two cards are sympathy ones (the inside is stamped with 'with deepest sympathy' - the cardstock is hammered white and the corners and scrolls are rub ons, with flowers PM:

The next five Christmas cards are also suitable for challenge 8 on La La Land: 'winter/Christmas' and also for Stampavie challenge 65: Christmas.

They are made for the purpose of sending to folk who are going through a time of illness or bereavement, for instance, for whom Christmas is a difficult time.

The sentiment is a Hampton Art stamp, embossed.

I can't remember what paper this background is - I think it might be Craft Creations, but not sure:

The papers used on these other cards are from the BG eskimo kisses range:

And the band of paper across this one is Anna Griffin:

They are also more cards for Creative Inspirations 18 'Christmas in October'

Blue

Blue is the colour for Crafty Creations 37, so I'm showing some Christmas cards that I made yesterday.

Paper Blooms current challenge is 'monochromatic' so these cards are appropriate for that too.

and this card is a sympathy one (inside says 'with deepest sympathy', using a cuttlebug embossing folder and some PM flowers - it is good for Cuttlebug Spot challenge 52: monochromatic:

Copic colour challenge 34

I made a lot of Christmas cards yesterday in readiness for today's sale at my friend's coffee morning - I managed to take quick photos or scans, but didn't have any time to blog, so this card for Copic Colour challenge 34 is late, although the card was actually done on time.

The challenge called for us to use these colours:

The nearest I had were: BG93, RV29 and C-3, so I used these along with a few others to colour in the stamped image. The background of the card is reflective mirror card and hard to get a photo - metallic grey.

Salt: Confidence in God

It was my turn to choose the Salt topic for today's challenge - you can read what I wrote here.

I've used My Mind's Eye papers for my LO and torn the edges all round to represent the fragility and uncertainty of live, compared with the solid rock of confidence in God.

I've used the words of a worship song (you can read them by clicking on to the picture).

This fits perfectly with today's challenge 41 on Charisma Cardz: 'it's so distressing' - 'I want you to pull out your distressing tools - inks, scissors, whatever you want - and rip and tear and distress those projects to "destress" yourself!!'

Just because ....

It looks as if this is late, but in fact it was ready last night, but I didn't have time to blog it.

It's a card for 'just because ...' for the treehouse challenge 18. I chalked over the embossing:

Paperplay 38

This card is for Paperplay 38 Mandy's sketch:

This is also one for week 41 on Fab's Big Christmas: 'baubles or something round':
