Vellum Christmas greetings

This is another quick card similar to the one shown here the other day. Once again, I've used some vellum wrapped around the edge of the card, torn at the other edge - on to a pearlised red card, with the addition of an image from a Dovecraft paper from a couple of years ago.

Glittered berries to greet Christmas

This card was prompted by Just scraps 20: 'round and red', where these berries were shown for inspiration:


This is a very simple card using the picture of some red berries with some added red glitter, mounted on a red stardream card that sparkles.

A dragonfly in autumn?

When I saw the recipe for challenge 14 on Papercraft star I thought it was difficult, but then I found a dragonfly that was lurking in my 'work in progress' box - what a joke that box is because there's things in there that have been there for ages, waiting for inspiration - anyway, it so happened that the dragonfly's tail was made of twine, so I went ahead with a card for Papercraft star 14, which specified this recipe:

Make a Card
Base: 5.5 x 5.5
Mat: 5x5
Score Mat 5 times at 1/4 inch
3 Flowers from Die Cut or Punch
3 Buttons and Twine
(You may also add a sentiment or other items as desired)

I've used the sketch for Create4fun week 38:

The papers are BG max & whiskers (I know there are no cats or dogs in sight, just a dragonfly - lol!) and I used a Crafts Too spots embossing folder - this one is square so gives more coverage than the cuttlebug swiss dots one.

The flowers were cut with a Sizzix green die flower #1 (it's a long time since I used this).
