CHNC challenge 217: feature a creature

This is my design card for my CHNC challenge 217: feature a creature.  Please click on the link to find out  more about the challenge and also to see the lovely card supplied by by guest, Lozzy. My card features some of Buckwell's digital papers (one of the five sponsors for this challenge) from their Christmas CD and also Its stripes. and Checkout. I've used an image from 'Christmas wonderland trees' by Diane Noble at Diane's Daydream Designs (sadly, Diane is no longer selling her digital images, but kindly supplied these ahead of that decision). I created the card totally digitally.

Suzy Bee's Bloomin' challenge 68

This is my design card for today's Suzy Bee's Bloomin' challenge 68: anything goes with a twist ... monochrome. Please click the link to see the lovely designs of the rest of the team and join in our monochromatic challenge.

The challenge is being sponsored by Lacy Sunshine and I used their Emily's kimono image, which I coloured with just one alcohol pen - the Chameleon 'sky blue' - this is my first attempt at using one of the Chameleon pens that were delivered earlier this week. As with anything new, practice is needed ... so I will take take and try to get better with using them.

Papers are from the DCWV Far East collection (I was given an 8 x 8 pad ages and ages ago and I'm still using some up, including the scrap piece down the side, as well as the other bigger offcuts). I stamped on to the background paper using Stazon teal blue, but it doesn't show up too well here. I also stamped the fan on to a scrap piece of card that matched the background and cut around it. Washi tape was added either side of the scrap piece.

Completely Christmas challenge 51

This is my design card for Completely Christmas challenge 51: anything goes with a twist ... no red or green. Please click on the link to see the lovely designs of the rest of the team and join in the fun.

The challenge is being sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps and I used their Little penguin winter image which I coloured with spectrum noir pens. The main papers are from Fantastic Foils Festive Frolics and I used a couple of strips of textured card as well, punching some snowflakes out of snippets of this card.
