Gelli plate flowers
Yesterday afternoon I took my gelli plate, paints and various papers and stencils etc up into the summerhouse and played with making prints.
As well as using some plain card, I tried out some printing on patterned paper. I used an offcut of My Mind's Eye Andrea Victoria (the reverse side of golden damask), using a mini echoes stencil by The cafters workshop that I bought last week at Craftability in Ipswich with some brown acrylic paint.
The offcut of paper wasn't big enough to use as a background, so I decided to make a couple of wacky flowers (still not sure that I like them - bit different for me) by tearing rough circles and creating stems and leaves out of bits left over, just adding a circular sentiment.

Another altered notebook
The background is an offcut of unknown card. I can't remember where the stickers came from, but I particularly like the smiley summer sun and the kite.

Have a sweet Christmas
This is my design team card for The Glory of Christmas challenge 12: sweets. Please click on the link and see what other members of the team have made and, hopefully, join in the challenge - I'd love to see you there.
The main background paper is a K & Co offcut, as is the paper with random 'sweet' words. The gingerbread people were cut from another offcut piece of card (they have a very shiny surface that doesn't show up here) along with the dotted paper from DCWV. The ribbon/twine is from Docrafts and the 'have a sweet Christmas' was generated with my dymo letratag label maker.
