Autumn colours

This is for the sketch for Cards und more 36:

It's also for Totally stampalicious colour challenge: pink, orange and yellow.

Papers are BG Indian summer, the stamped image (blazing red stazon - unfortunately, it doesn't show up here too well) is a favourite Magenta one. Regulars to my blog will recognise the organza leaves that have been making an appearance recently, having been in a box for some years, with the addition of a lovely Martha Steward flower.

This is also for Annabelle birthday challenge 2: blooms.

It's also for:

Lexi 48: autumn
Craft us crazy 16: autumn colours

Pink and grey

This is a DL card for The pink elephant 115 sketch:

The base card is a silver grey stardream. I've used a smaller 'tall card' front to layer on to this - this has Best Wishes embossed all the way round it.

The digi image is one that I got a long while ago from Crafts by Carolyn - I decided to just colour the little girl's dress with pink and the skirt of the lady with grey, leaving the rest as the black and white drawing. The addition of three ribbons (two of which are studded with gems) across the bottom and a Craftime flower and the card was finished.

This is also for:

The background paper is some that I've had for ages, bought originally from PDA. Likewise, the golf stickers were bought a long time ago - I thought they would come in handy one day.

Autumn just for you

This is for Stamps + fun = creativity 63: sketch:

It's also for the colours for SPCC116:

The background paper is BG Indian summer and the strips are BG green at heart.

I used two stamps from Tattered angels rockin' renaissance tattered textures set, putting them together and firstly inking up with spiced marmalade DI and then touching some areas with fired brick DI. I tore round an oval template and distressed the edges lightly with fired brick, as well as the edges of the strips. I've used another of my stored material leaves - this is like a voile material encrusted with sequins and glitter.

Inspired by the song Autumn by Barbra Streisand (extract video here) for 365 cards day 194: personal play list, also for Secret crafter Saturday 151: inspired by a song.

Quirky crafts guest designer slot

I was privileged to be chosen as the Design Team winner for Quirky crafts 17 (you can see the announcement here) - I won some digis from Robyn's fetish digital stamps. I was also invited to join the Design Team for challenge 19: anything but a card.

For this challenge we were given some digis from Robyn's fetish - I chose to use elements from 'school supplies' and also 'bookworm' - digitally arranging these and then printing directly on to a piece of Collage Press Journaling Cards Ledger paper. I then coloured the digis with copics - to produce my notebook.

It so happens that today's Robyn's Fetish I did it challenge 72 is 'anything goes' so I'm linking this there.

Please go over to Quirky Crafts challenge 19 to see what the team have produced and it would be lovely if you could make 'anything but a card' to join in and show your crafting.
