Christmas black, white and hot pink

This card is very similar to the last one, except this time it has a hot pink base card and the ribbon has stitching through it.

Irl the baubles are much more glittery.

The current challenge on Caardvarks is 'black, white and hot pink' and challenge 15 on Creative Inspirations is 'stitching'. This is also another one for Allsorts week 16.

Black and white Christmas

So that I can make enough Christmas cards reasonably quickly ready for the WEF sale, I bought the QVC TSV this week. However, I'd rather use the elements mixing and matching with things I've already got rather than as suggested by the kit.

This card is for challenge 35 on Ooh la la 'sparkly black and white Christmas' and also for Allsorts week 16, for which the challenge is to use anything but stamped images.

I've used an embossed base card and some silver ribbon with the baubles and greeting - a simple, but quite striking, card:

P.S. Naomi (Sugar Brown) has suggested that I enter this card for her challenge on CBC to show a Christmas card made using just two colours.

Bubblyfunk August swaps

As you know, I haven't managed much crafting for the last couple of months or so, but I did manage to take part in the BF August swaps.

And what a gorgeous lot of crafting I received back from the girls on BF.

The theme for August ATCs was 'beach':

and the theme for inchies was 'bling':

Arem't they all lovely?

Here's that Santa again!

I love my vintage Santa stamp so much I've used it again on another set of five cards, this time stamping with black on slightly patterned red paper.

I used the sketch for sketch 22 from Papertake Weekly:

This card is also for day 161 on 365 cards, where the challenge was 'don't leave a blank space on your card.'

The background paper is PM A wonderful Christmas time.

I don't usually use peel offs, but still have some Christmas greetings ones from ages and ages ago and want to use them up, especially as these cards will be sold in packs of 5 at a cheap price for charity.
