Hearts, flowers and swirls

The challenge on Wednesday Stamper is to use hearts in a different way, so I used a heart stamp, stamping it six times, keeping the bottom point in the centre, to produce a flower. I used a swirly stamp that complemented this for the background of the card, both background and flower being stamped on to Craft Creations pink texture paper. All the stamping was embossed with shocking pink.

A Spoon Full of Sugar 38: doodle doo challenge called for some doodles, either hand drawn or stamped, so plenty on this background.

Lurve

I've used Mojo Monday week 73 sketch for this card:
I turned the sketch on its side.

This is also for Dottie's World challenge 'lurve', using one of the Dottie downloads from 'love and marriage' - I imported it into Paint and filled in colours.

The papers are HOTP, and other bits and pieces added.

And on JB for February challenge 3 'all heart', Nicky has asked us to make a card using hearts and red and white (a Valentine's or Anniversary etc) - so I hope this qualifies, although, admittedly, there's only one heart on it.

Pink rose inchie

The challenge on last Saturday's Small World of Inchies was 'pink' and this week's on Inchy by inch is 'roses/flowers', so I've combined the two. I'm sorry that the photo is terrible (so difficult to get a good shot of something so small). I used a docrafts stamp, coloured with copics and accented with a glitter pen and glossy accents.

Marvellous metal

A long while ago I bought some Magic metal copper, gold and silver sheets. I used some and the rest had been left in the box.

When I saw challenge 6 on Lots to do, I thought about this and have been meaning to make something for it - and now the whole week has gone past. But here it is at last:

The background paper is BG archaic and the copper sheet has been embossed with a cuttlebug folder and swiped over with terra cotta alcohol ink (has just given the copper a bit of a deeper colour). The metal has then be mounted with the brads, which have more of a metallic sheen irl.
Carolyn's challenge CBCC086 on CBC is 'metal madness', so this is OK for that.
A very simple card, but I feel that the embossed copper sheet should take pride of place.
Today's challenge on BG is 'hearts': 'As today is a very special day, we would like you to get all loved up in your creations and show us some hearts, it can be any size and any quantity of hearts you wish, and also not forgetting to use at least one item from BasicGrey somewhere on your creation' - so I'm linking this card as there are hearts on the embossing.
