Just a note ...

I've inked this lovely Inkadinkado pens stamp with memento tuxedo black and coloured with copics. The sentiment is an Anita's stamp.

Joy to the world

Another card using up one of the ready gold foiled card blanks that I've had for ages, this time inking the Clarity sentiment stamp with versamark and heat embossing with detail gold. The flower in the middle of the O is a sticker that's been in my Christmas box for ages.

This is another card for this week's facebook Sunday's with Santa: embossing.

Once again, this was a difficult card to photograph because of the flash, which is why it's taken at a funny angle.

This is for:

Peace on earth ...

... and joy to the world!

I was pleased when I found that the new inkadinkado angel stamp that I've got fits nicely in the space on the ready foiled card blank with just enough room either side to stamp the sentiments. All stamps were inked with versamark and heat embossed with detail gold.

Unfortunately, because of having to use flash, the photo doesn't do the card justice - the embossing looks much better irl.

This is my card for this week's facebook Sunday's with Santa: embossing.

Gold birthday

In an effort to use some of my not-so-recent purchases I've been making a few easy cards again today. I'm still not feeling too good, so it's just right to do a bit of crafting, but nothing that takes too much effort.

So this uses a ready gold foiled card blank. Once again I've stamped the Clarity Stamp sentiment with versamark and heat embossed with detail gold powder. A few added gems and a card was done. Why is it that the gems look a different gold on the photo?

Blue birthday bling

Another very simple card made with a ready scalloped card blank on which I stamped again with the Clarity sentiment stamp with versamark and heat embossed with silver detail powder. I then added the rhinestone gems around the scallops.

Lilac and pearls

This is simply a shaped card blank on to which I've stamped with the large Clarity sentiment stamp using Brilliance pearlescent purple and heat embossed with clear detail powder. I then added the pearls around the scallops.

Simply embossed sentiment

This scalloped card blank was already decorated with the floral edge. All I've done is stamp the big Clarity sentiment stamp with Brilliance pearlescent ivy and heat embossed with clear detail powder.

Just a note

The Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz script stamp was inked with Brilliance pearlescent purple and heat embossed. The Penny Black 'sparklers' stamp was inked with stazon vibrant violet, as was the Anita's sentiment stamp. The background is a ready made mat, put on to a stardream card blank.

Duck in the bull rushes

I bought a duck and bull rushes set of stamps from Clarity Stamps some time ago and still hadn't inked them up until today. I've stamped them on to a ready made shaped mat, stamping the bull rushes twice so that faded ones are in the background. I coloured lightly with copics. The sentiment is Anita's. This was then mounted on to a dark brown card blank.

WOYWW 163

Before I get to show you my workspace I want to thank everyone for all the comments and good wishes for me. I think the shingles is gradually going, but it certainly is taking its time! At least now the pain is responding better to the painkillers and this morning was the first time that I didn't have to get up early because of the pain.

The main reason for this post, of course, is for WOYWW 163 - yes, it's the same number as last week as poor Julia got it wrong then, so easily done.

Most of what you see today has been blogged about already.

To my left you can see the black and gold card I made last night - can see it better here - was pleased with how that turned out. Behind the mug of coffee is a pile of recently made Christmas cards. I put inserts in and bagged and labelled, so I'm up to date with that. It was one of my new year's resolutions to do this every week to avoid having the dreadful job of having to bag up too many cards at once. I now have over 160 Christmas cards made, so I'm on track!

To the far left are cards that have recently been made using the My Craft Studio everyday essentials kit - just right for those days when I didn't feel up to much, but still wanted something to do.

To the right you can see the lovely Stampotique stamp that I used for the black and gold card and another pile of cards recently made. I used up quite a few decoupaged bits from the mesh box last week and have now put more in it to encourage me to use up supplies that I've had for years - I'd love to see that mesh box empty!

Once again, thanks to everyone who visits and for your comments - much appreciated - but I also understand that WOYWW is so popular now that it's difficult to get round to too many to comment. I'll try my best again this week.
