More secret birthday wishes

Another card made with Cath Kidston papers, matted on to an A5 patterned card blank, once again using a pocket and the birthday greeting on a card inside it. I simply added the Dena supplies butterfly.

This is based on the sketch for Eat,  sleep, stamp 162:

I took the 'pocket' theme from the photo inspiration on Inspired by 13:

Secret birthday wishes

This is a pocket card made with papers from a Cath Kidston stationery set. The main paper I used was double sided, so I cut and layered one side on top of the other from another sheet before matting on to an A5 patterned pink/red card blank.

This is for Southern girls 39: show me a secret - a pocket on the card with a Happy Birthday message inside.

The chipboard butterfly was rescued from a card received a long time ago. This is for:

An oriental birthday greeting

This is for the sketch for Moving along with the times:
It's also for Charisma cardz 8: masking, with the option of using three stamps. I used three oriental stamps that I recently purchased, stamping the kimono behind the image of the lady and then stamping the blossom behind both. I coloured with copics and then just added the flowers and the sentiment panel. The background paper is Basic Grey eva.

Suzie's 365 day 67: floor

This is the fairly new carpet that we had put into the room where I craft (the previous one was getting a bit too worse for wear with evidence of glue, ink etc). I need to be careful with this one. It's quite a light colour, which I am pleased about because it goes much better with the curtains than the previous carpet it - the good thing is that it is swirly with different shades of colour, so, hopefully, it will hide anything that's added to it - that's the theory anyway!

So here is my floor for Suzie's day 67:

Suzie's 365 day 46: cooking

I had to wait till I was cooking in the evening to get a photo for yesterdays Suzie's day 66. I took the photo and then forgot to blog it. Part of what I cooked last night: some sizzling red peppers:

Commissioned golf card

I've been asked to make a card for a birthday with a golfing theme and to incorporate decoupage. I've used the sketch for Prairie fairy Fridays 73:

The background paper is from PDA card and craft, the embossed spots panel was run through my cuttlebug with an embossing folder. The decoupaged golfer and caddy have been in my stash for ages (I tend to go in fits and starts with decoupage!). The green netting and stickers from stash.

For Fun Guest Design slot

It's a privilege to have been invited to be a guest designer on For Fun for this week and next week. Today's challenge is Woof woof meow! - to use a cat or dog on your card - it should be a focal point.

For my card I've used the sketch for this week's Willow Sketchie, which, in addition to the sketch, asked for the use of two patterned papers:

The background paper was from PDA card & crafts and the script paper is 7 gypsies life noir.

I've used one of my favourite Penny Black stamps 'brimming with love' and coloured with copics.

It would be lovely to see you play along with the For Fun challenge - hope to see you there!
