Just for you at Easter

This is for the sketch on Order of the Opus gluei 90:

Because of having to use flash the photo isn't very clear - the sentiment in the circle says: May you enjoy every lovely gift that springtime has to offer Happy Easter' and the scallops around the flowers across the bottom are edged with gold foiling too.

The background paper is imaginisce twitterpated colorfall and the other components are from an Easter Kanban kit.

This is also for:

Going grey (Scrap-creations): spring fever
Charisma cardz 7: spring has sprung
Less is more 3: theme challenge - spring (CAS)

Tools for men

For this card I chose the colours of papers from my offcuts box (I think the papers are K & Co) and the stickers (coloured parts with copic to disguise brighter colours) for Irish teddy's 'black/brown' challenge.

I've used the sketch for Corrosive 103:

Two more men's cards

Two more cards for the men - using the same papers in the same way as I did for the previous two cards for 'Steampunk ... or is it?'

Not really sure whether to link these to DCM 'steampunk' , but I'll risk it!

They are also for:

Crafty catz 70: one for the men
ECP 32: something for the boys
Creative inspirations 53: distress
Claudia & company 75: about a boy (mmm wonder if an older man can still be classed as a 'boy'?)

Steampunk ... or is it?

Having seen yesterday that this week's Daring Cardmakers topic is 'steampunk' I was looking for something else when I came across papers that I've had for ages - think they were free with a magazine and also a paper with lots of pocket watches printed on it.

Anyway, they were so easy to make. I distressed edges of the 'pocket watches' paper with old paper DI and then it was just a matter of tearing the other papers and putting together.

I hope these qualify as 'steampunk':

CHNC challenge 8: the white stuff

This is for my CHNC challenge 8, which this week is 'the white stuff' - please go over to my Craftyhazelnut Christmas Challenge blog to read more about this challenge and, hopefully, join in.

I've used the sketch which is being combined this week by two challenge blogs: Sketchy Thursdays and Jingle Belles. I'm also linking this for Die cut dreams Christmas club: I'm dreaming of a white Christmas and also Winter wonderland: it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
I'm afraid I had to resort to a scan instead of a photo - it's so difficult to get a true representation of white - it's much whiter irl.

I used a spotty embossing folder and a border snowflakes folder with my cuttlebug.

The snowglobe image is from Daisy Doodles, which is just one of the images I chose when I was given 10$ to spend in their digi shop for winning challenge 27, coloured with copics.

It's also for:

Woodware USA 14: embossing
Pixie cottage 57: embossing
2 sisters 27: embossing
Craft us crazy 2: brrrr it's cold outside - winter theme
