April Rudolph Day

I've made this card for April Rudolph Day run by the lovely Maureen. The background is a patterned card by Imagination Crafts on to which I added some stamped snowflakes and the lovely Anna Griffin sentiment with holly, inking everything with Elzybells sugar candy pigment inkpad and then heat embossing with detail white powder. It's  difficult to see the shine of the heat embossing here, but it's much more prominent irl. This is mounted on to a sparkly stardream deep blue card blank.

This is also for:

Fab n funky 257: Christmas
Hiding in my craft room 197: any holiday
Christmas card challenges 21: anything goes
Holly jolly Christmas: white with one colour
Amusing challenges (stamped blessings): anything goes
Lil patch of crafty friends 8: anything goes
2 cute ink 128: anything goes
Through the purple haze 84: anything goes
As you like it: favourite style of embossing and why - I love heat and dry embossing (probably in equal measure for the results), but I never tire of seeing the powder turn shiny when heated - pure alchemy!
