It's Saturday and that means there's a new challenge on my Christmas challenge blog -
CHNC challenge 11 is 'go for gold' - - use gold in some way on your card - it can be a lot or a little - foiling, heat embossing, gold pen - whatever you like, as long as there is gold somewhere on your Christmas card. If you haven't yet discovered my
Christmas blog, now's the time to start building up a collection of Christmas cards to ease the pressure that inevitably tends to mount up later in the year.
I like to support other Christmas challenge blogs - after all, we're all united in encouraging one another to make Christmas cards throughout the year. So my card for my CHNC challenge 11 is based on the sketch for
Sparkle creations Christmas 2011 week 14:

It's also for
ABC Christmas: E for embossing and embellishments - the background paper and the side panel were already embossed, but I've also added a line of trees embossed on gold using a border embossing folder with my cuttlebug. The three embellishments I've used are brads, a ribbon bow, and poinsettia flowers.
It's also for
Fab's big Christmas March challenge to use a picture.
There is gold on every paper used and also on the image, which is from a pack by Red Line.

This is also for:
Wild orchid 18: anything goes
Papertake weekly: anything goes + option of something old - the background paper
Aly's: anything goes
Card cupids: anything goes
Craft your passion 48: anything goes
