I had used Lisa Horton's lovely Roses embossing folder with a piece of white card and had also saved the outside of a die cut I'd used earlier with some silver matt mirror card using Lisa's nested scalloped die.
I thought I would experiment and brushed across the embossed roses (not being too careful) with versamark before then covering with detail silver embossing powder and heating. I then covered the rest of the area by brushing with pink oxide distress ink. The card was finished off with the Dovecraft birthday greeting and the silver gems in the corners.
It's not perfect, but I think it was a good experiment using dry and wet embossing together.
