Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper September 2020 challenge

This 8 x 8 card was commissioned for a friend's birthday. All papers, including inside are from  the DCWV Mariposa stack, a beautiful collection that is almost too lovely to use (but there is still some left). I added some flowers raised up with 3D foam, crocheted butterflies (I didn't crochet them, but bought them like it), the birthday circle from an old kit and a bow upcycled from a piece of ribbon that I think had been with some flowers.

A commissioned card a while ago for a granddaughter's 18th birthday. Kanban paper and other bits, wine glass stickers, dymo letratag sentiments and the sizzix large car die cut in white shiny card, with acetate for the windscreen and silver for the headlights.

Engagement

This was a commissioned card to celebrate an engagement. I was asked to include bags of shopping,, so found this picture of the bags in the boot of a car. I created the crossword digitally and printed out, adding the glittered washi strips at the sides and the puffy hearts.

Sapphire anniversary

This was a commissioned card for a couple's 45th wedding anniversary, hence the background of the front of the card was made with blue mirror embossed with an embossing folder and fut off at the end to add a border made with a Martha Stewart punch, with a striped piece of Hot off the press paper to cover the join. I put some mirror card inside so it showed through the gaps in the punched border. The lovely delicate hearts with pearls and the numerals and letters were added and two embroidered bows.

For this card I used Paper Boutique background paper on to a lemon patterned card blank, with the Sparkle n sprinkle Eve's sunflower digital image printed, coloured with spectrum noir pens and fussy cut out and matted on to the offcut piece of card with the butterfly added and the dymo letratag sentiment. Also the digital image is called 'Eve's sunflower', the way I've coloured it, it doesn't look like one.

The tide recedes

Another seaside card I made earlier. I still can't remember where the scalloped circles with beach huts came from, but they were just right for what I wanted to do. I stamped and embossed the words of the  poem which were part of a set by rubbadubbado, with the addition of the little puffy stickers, all mounted on the shaped card blank.

This was a commissioned birthday card for a taxi driver, using the large Sizzix car die with black mirror card, with cut out silver mirror for the headlamps and acetate for the windscreen, using a piece of birthday paper from a chalk board paper pad and strips of Kanban best wishes.

Happy birthday

Background paper for this card is from 12 x 12 Tim Holtz idea-ology paper stash vintage shabby ... I love it, but rarely use it. I've got now idea where the topper squares and sentiment panel came from. The flower is from a larger Papermania flower with pieces cut off the pels and a small fabric flower added to the centre and another at the bottom of the card.

For a musician husband

Happy birthday to a lovely granddaughter

For this commissioned card I played with inks, using a Hunkydory prism inkpad all over the scalloped edged A5 tent style card blank, blotting in placed to reveal white bits. I stamped the Tim Holtz paisley stamp inked with memento grape jelly,a couple of times to get a long enough piece, cut the sides and rounded the corners, matting on to purple mirror card, wrapping a glittered ribbon around. The embossed square was created using an embossing folder that also created the mat for the printed greeting. A Hobbycraft flower was added - white brushed with memento grape jelly.

A commissioned card some time ago for a friend to take to her Chiropractor who was moving on. I created in word clouds with a free online help and got the silhouette clip arts free online too, putting the whole thing together digitally, adding the sentiments and then printing and mounting on to a black card blank.
