Oh how I wish for a bit more time to craft - lol!!

This is my design card for A bit more time to craft challenge 17: anything goes - please click on the link to see the lovely designs of others in the team and we would love to see your entries ... anything goes.

For my card I used SheepSkiDesigns Annabell, kindly supplied by one of the sponsors of the challenge and Lozzy's Mised Media paper - Lozzy also sponsors with her lovely papers.

I coloured the image with chameleon pens and then die cut using an X cut parenthesis die, brushing with blue china distress ink. The ribbons don't show up too well, but I chose the colours to match with the image and added the piece of corrugated card, the sending circle and the flower from The Works.

Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper April challenge

It's no April fool that already a quarter of the year has gone and here we are starting the month of April. That means that there is a new challenge for Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper - please click on the link to see the wonderful variety of lovely designs by my team, all using patterned paper in their own creative styles. We hope that you will be able to join in our challenge this month - all you have to do is create a design using some patterned paper in some way ... and you can enter as many times as you like ... and, as usual, there is a prize for the randomly chosen winner.

A while ago I bought a box of Crafter's Companion Downton Abbey papers and all sorts of elements - I was able to make quite a few cards for a sale that was held here to raise money for Admiral nurses for people with dementia and their carers. This is one of the cards I made. The only thing that was added was the peacock which was cut out from a paper from Tiger (I wish I had cut out the white bit between the legs, but I didn't ... so it's too late.

CHNC challenge extra for April

It seems incredible that a quarter of the year has gone already and we are now starting April. I know that a lot of people think it is odd and unnecessary to make Christmas creations this early in the year,, but there are others, like myself, who think it makes sense to avoid a rush towards the end of the year ... and the days, weeks and months go by so quickly.

So this is my design card for CHNC challenge extra for April - please click on the link to see the lovely designs of my super team and we would love to see your Christmas creations - you may enter as many times as you wish with any Christmas designs ... and, as usual, there's a super prize to be won by the randomly chosen winner.

The papers I used are both from my offcuts box - the one with the green, red, white, black stripes is Bohemia Christmas believe and the paper in the foreground is from a DCWV paper pack.

The image is little penguin winter - skate kindly supplied by Bugaboo Stamps who are sponsoring the challenge, coloured with spectrum noir pens and die cut with a Spellbinders nestie scalloped circle. This image is one of the earliest I had from Bugaboo and is still one of my favourites.

The sentiment was generated on my dymo letratag label maker.

I cheated a bit and used a ready cut template for the box card, lining the middle with some DCWV glitter paper and adding a Santa picture that I rescued from a card received. The striped glittered paper on the two outside flaps is also from DCVW. Greetings from Christmas stash.

This is my design card for Suzy Bee's Bloomin' challenge 123: anything goes with a twist ... add some pearls. Please click on the link to see the lovely crafting of others in the team and we hope you will be able to join in our challenge.

I used an image kindly given by Dazzling Ace Designs, sponsors of the challenge.

The spotty papers are offcuts of Papermania lemon sorbet capsule papers. The gingham piece was rescued from a card received. I used an offcut piece of green card to die cut the ballet shoes using the Tattered Lace die, cutting it (successfully, thankfully) on my todo. A few pearls added here and there, a couple of Hobbycraft flowers and a birthday sentiment and the card was finished.

Sorry, the photo is a bit dull looking in parts - good light was already fading.

Please click here to see the wonderful designs of the rest of the team for our first challenge ... and we would love you to join in.

Challenges will always be on the last Friday of the month, starting at 08:00 UK time.

The image is Sassy Studio 'get well soon Sassy' (Sassy Studio Designs are sponsoring the challenge). The challenge is also being sponsored by A Day for Daisies. I coloured the image with chameleon pens before cutting out and mounting on to a piece of embossed ivory pearlescent card, part of a bigger design from an A4 embossalicious embossing folder. This was then matted on to gold mirror card to coordinate with the corner piece matted to the patterned card blank. The flowers were originally write, coloured with chameleon pens with Hobbyhouse rhinestone sparklers added to the centres. Finally, a Kanban sentiment panel was added.

This was a commissioned card. Papers are all Die Cuts with a View and the two scalloped ovals were cut on my Scan n Cut. You can't see it in the photo, but the paper on the base and those used for the ovals are flittered and glittered. The chicks, eggs and bunny are chipboard  embellishments that I've had for a long time, originally from Poundland.

This is my card for my CHNC challenge 272 - please click on the link and join in the festive fun - it's never too early to think about making one or two Christmas cards to save panic towards the end of the year.

The theme for this week's challenge, as it's the 2nd Saturday in the month, is a colour: gold .. a little or a lot.
This is my card, featuring the lovely Crafts 4 eternity image Christmas cupcakes - combining three together (kindly supplied by one of my sponsors) coloured with copics and spectrum noir pens.
