CHNC challenge 500


This is my design card for my CHNC challenge 500 -  please click on the link to find out what it's all about and I hope you'll be able to join in with your Christmas designs - anything goes as long as it's Christmas with the optional theme of  'use some twine or ribbon'.

 I used some backing paper from my Christmas box, with red and gold twine around it a few times, mounted on to a red card blank with a sentiment and the lovely felt Santa that I bought quite some time ago.

Birthday aperature


A simple card with an aperture and the Hobby House oval topper inside, with gold foiling corners on pink card. Name and granddaughter generated on the dymo letratag.

 This is a commissioned card for a special sister, using Kanban foiled paper background with lots of flowers and butterflies and a couple of sentiment panels, including the Anna Griffin one bottom right.

For a tram driver


A commissioned card for a tram driver's birthday ... his route. I managed to put the card together digitally, adding the Happy Birthday instead of the destination of the tram and then printed and added the Best Wishes sentiment, mounted on green mirror card and then on to a white card blank.

Lovely jubbly birthday


A commissioned card for a lover of the 'Only Fools and Horses' comedies, using some offcut pieces of card as background and download pictures matted on to other pieces of offcuts and with the sentiment printed from computer.

Happy 1st birthday


Because I'm not walking as much atm (well, hardly doing much walking at all), I'm taking the opportunity to blog some of the cards I made earlier. Since lockdown, I've made lots of cards, including quite a few commissions, but don't know when I'll get round to blogging them. At least, I'm getting back into the swing of blogging more than just for my own challenges.

 A commissioned card for Sophia's first birthday using a Hunkydory backround with banner with the letters of the name and castle, unicorn etc - stickers from Poundland and, of course, the all-important number 1.

Happy birthday, Grandson


This is a commissioned card that was made some time ago, but never blogged. The background papers on the A5 card are Basic Grey Periphery. William is keen on rowing and has a dog like the one I've shown.

 Not good photos - looked much better irl - can't take other photos as the card went ages ago.
