Beside the seaside

This card is similar to one that I  made for a 70th birthday card earlier.I can't remember where the scalloped circles with beach huts came from, but they were just right for what I wanted to do. I stamped and embossed the words of the song which were part of a set by rubbadubbado, with the addition of the little puffy stickers, all mounted on the shaped card blank.

This was a commission A5 tent style card for a trainee chef - food picture from a recipe book, Kanban topper of wine bottles and a digital chef's hat with Happy Birthday added before printing and cutting out and adding, as well as the letters of the name.

This was a commissioned birthday card for a taxi driver, using the large Sizzix car die with black mirror card, with cut out silver mirror for the headlamps and acetate for the windscreen, using a piece of birthday paper from a chalk board paper pad and strips of Kanban best wishes.

Happy birthday - have a great day. Another card made with two unknown toppers, very like the previous card, with the Happy Birthday sentiment and also Have a great day, with a few fabric little flowers with gems, all mounted on to a ready patterned Card blank. Happy birthday

Background paper for this card is from 12 x 12 Tim Holtz idea-ology paper stash vintage shabby ... I love it, but rarely use it. I've got now idea where the topper squares and sentiment panel came from. The flower is from a larger Papermania flower with pieces cut off the pels and a small fabric flower added to the centre and another at the bottom of the card.

For a musician husband

This commissioned card was for a musician husband, using a piece of unknown music themed paper for the background, stickers from Hobbycraft and the sentiment pieces.

Happy birthday to a lovely granddaughter

For this commissioned card I played with inks, using a Hunkydory prism inkpad all over the scalloped edged A5 tent style card blank, blotting in placed to reveal white bits. I stamped the Tim Holtz paisley stamp inked with memento grape jelly,a couple of times to get a long enough piece, cut the sides and rounded the corners, matting on to purple mirror card, wrapping a glittered ribbon around. The embossed square was created using an embossing folder that also created the mat for the printed greeting. A Hobbycraft flower was added - white brushed with memento grape jelly.

A commissioned card some time ago for a friend to take to her Chiropractor who was moving on. I created in word clouds with a free online help and got the silhouette clip arts free online too, putting the whole thing together digitally, adding the sentiments and then printing and mounting on to a black card blank.

Bicycle birthday

A card made with offcuts of papers, foiled border, ribbon (it wasn't crooked irl, it just looks it because of the angle the photo was taken. I can't remember where the bicycle topper came from (think it's Hunkydory, not sure). The Birthday with bow was recycled.

This is an 8 x 8 card made a while ago using paper from DCWV and a big die cut shape, some butterflies and flowers from Hobbycraft and The Works. The greeting circle was a freebie die which I cut into some self adhesive copper sheet (much easier than trying to put adhesive on the delicate die), mounting on to a circle. The strip of gems was bought at a craft fair.

60th birthday

This was a recent commission for a daughter's 60th birthday. Supplies are mainly from Hunkydory with pink flowers from Hobbycraft. I printed the sentiment and quickly covered with silver detail powder and heat embossed and then die cut and embossed with a todo die. I love these two colours together.

For my granddaughter
