Oh holy night

Two similar Christmas cards recently made with papers from Echo Park's Wise Men still seek him paper pad, including the pieces cut for the sentiments. The topper on the first one is upcycled from a card received - it is gold foiled.

I'd love to be able to buy another of the Echo Park's paper pad, but can't find anyone in the UK who sells it ... I must google again.

A simple one layer card direct to the card blank, made using complimenting stamps that were bought with my Load n Fold from Rare Earth, using two different memento greens and colouring the berries with pencils (so that alcohol inks didn't show through).

O little town of Bethlehem

Another card using the die cut Christmas word using the Crafter's Companion die to cut out from self adhesive copper sheet, using the same to mat the topper and also a cut off piece as a 'ribbon' across the bottom, all on a red card blank (not as pink as it looks here).

Birthday puzzles

This was my card for my neighbour friend's 80th birthday yesterday, printing out a Lexulous game as the background and adding the lovely Penny Black hedge-word stamp that had been inked with Versafine onyx black and heat embossed with clear detail powder, with parts of the stamped image coloured with spectrum noir pens and then cut round. The letter tiles came from The Works. The recipient enjoys playing Lexulous, so I thought this might be appropriate.

I wish I could show the shine there is  on the crossword brought about by the heat  embossing:
