Have a very merry Christmas

I've made quite a few Art Deco cards in the last week or so and this is another of my favourites, using Hunkydory supplies with the background from Kanban.

With sympathy

This is a commissioned card to send to the family of a dearly loved friend. The background is Hunkydory card, the lily was stamped with a La Blanche foam stamp and coloured with Spectrum noir pencils, with the addition of the lace and sentiment circle.

CHNC challenge 520

 This is my design card for my CHNC challenge 520 -  please click on the link to find out what it's all about and I hope you'll be able to join in with your Christmas designs - anything goes as long as it's Christmas with the optional theme of 'use the word Merry'.

For my design card I used papers from the lovely Bo Bunny sleigh ride collection, tearing a couple of them. I added two inchies that I made some years ago and a twinchie too.

The top inchie was stamped and embossed with silver and for the bottom one I used fusible fibres and Dovecraft stamps.

For the twinchie I used 7 gypsies baja playa paper, white wash co'redination, a cuttlebug embossing folder and a cart-use border stamp, wrapped with a piece of lace with the addition of some small gems.

CHNC challenge 519

Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper December 2020 challenge

This is my design card for my Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper December 2020 challenge. .If you make anything that includes some patterned paper you can link your entries and you might be the randomly chosen winner of the lovely prize that I'm giving away. This was an 8 x 8 commissioned card for an 18th birthday with a make up and fashion theme. The background on the front is Hunkydory and the die cut using a Nellie Snellen die was cut from an offcut piece of Hunkydory adorable scorable, having printed the sentiment and quickly poured some detail gold embossing powder on. The rectangle pyramaged picture was from a Create and Craft collection with the addition of the decoupaged floral pieces and the numerals.



The inside was decorated with a piece of paper from the Dovecraft Kiss and Make 8 x 8 set:

Festive love

I've made quite a few Art Deco cards in the last week and this is one of my favourites. The background was created with some lilac mirror card embossed using a Christmas folder, with Hunkydory topper and sentiment - looks better irl.

Art Deco

I've been asked for some Art Deco Christmas cards, so here is one I made on Saturday using Hunkydory supplies, with the middle piece decoupaged. Difficult to get photos of this kind of card, so I'm showing two to try to show how it is irl. It's on a side opening A5 card blank.

Festive greetings

Another card made the other day using papers that were on my table - the green background has a flocked feel and the snowflake paper is gold foiled, as is the large sentiment panel from Kanban (a shame that the gold foiling doesn't show up in the photo). I added a couple of the lovely gold glittered snowflakes from Italian Options.

Christmas Wishes

Another card from a few days ago, again using papers from the Crafter's Companion Decorative Christmas pad - gold foil, as are the Christmas Wishes on the Kanban panel, with the addition of a couple of poinsettias from Italian Options. (Shame that gold foiling doesn't show up).

Christmas Greetings

Another card made the other day using a topper from an old card with lovely glittered gold trees, adding the raised glittered gold snowflakes from Italian Options, matted on to a piece of red and gold mirror card, then on to a red card blank.

I used a piece of foiled striped paper from Crafter's Companion Decorative Christmas pad, using a lovely glittered scene taken from an old card with black glittered Italian Options snowflakes added and a sentiment.

Happy Christmas

Another card made a few days ago, similar to one shown earlier. This time the background is a piece of Papermania from a 12 x 12 pack with the big sentiment oval from Kanban which is gold foiled (shame it doesn't show up here). I just added a couple of the lovely raised gold glittered snowflakes from Italian Options. The card blank is A5 opening sideways.

CHNC challenge 517

These are my design cards for my CHNC challenge 517 -  please click on the link to find out what it's all about and I hope you'll be able to join in with your Christmas designs - anything goes as long as it's Christmas with the optional theme of  'something beginning with the letter R'.

I used papers from The Works for the backgrounds of my card with a panel of turquoise card across the middles, with a matching piece around the edges of the card on the right. The lovely red foiled reindeer were from Kanban long ago (shame that the bright shine of the foiling doesn't show well here). Sentiments were added and glittered silver snowflakes on the card on the left and a piece of washi tape on the other card.

Happy Birthday

I made this a few days ago to send to my step-son for his birthday. I used Hunkydory for the card blank, folding an A4 piece of card so that the pattern is also on the back of the card. I added papers from Papermania Mr Mister collection and added the two decoupaged bikes - can't remember where these came from, but just right for what I wanted. I printed the sentiment and die cut with a Spellbinders die, added the cork stars.
