New home card

This was a commissioned card a while ago, using Hunkydory supplies. I cut the piece that would normally be on the front of the card and added the other shape. The piece across the base of the stand up piece was decoupaged.

I added a strut at the back so that it could stand:

Roses for rose

This was a commissioned birthday card for a 90 year old, named Rose, so  I thought, what better than to use roses on the card.

I used one of my favourite stamps by Magenta, inking with memento tuxedo black  and colouring with spectrum noir pens. I cut into the four squares and mounting on to a piece of magazine freebie paper. I used another piece to add to the cut off edge of the A5 card, using a Martha Stewart Happy Birthday punch. The sentiment strips were done on my dymo letratag. I added a matching piece of paper inside.

A harvest basket of flowers

A birthday card made recently, using some card that I purchased at a craft fair - light brown with gold circles - as you can see I used it inside as well as on the front of the scallop edged A5 side opening card blank. The lovely flowers are decoupaged and into the basket with the ribbon died at the top, with just the addition of the birthday greeting. I love that big sunflower ... well, I love all of the flowers.

More fantasy

Another fantasy themed birthday card for a sweet girl. I've used a couple of pieces of paper from my offcuts box. I've been trying to remember where the centre one came from - it's double sided and I think might be Bo Bunny - perhaps someone can tell me). The other paper is very glittery. Some 3D stickers were added and the sentiment and Charlotte's name.

Under the weather

A card made a while ago to cheer someone up. The images were coloured with spectrum noir pencils as this was a one layer card and alcohol pens would show through. The card blank was run through my printer to print the computer generated sentiment. Lots of gems were then added.

Music for a granddaughter

This is an 8 x 8 commissioned card I made a while ago for a granddaughter, who is a musician and loves playing the piano. The main background paper is from My Paper Stash quintessential country garden backgrounds and the torn piece across the middle is an unknown piece of paper bought a long time ago. I stamped on to this using the Stamps Happen keys to music stamp inked with memento tuxedo black and brushed with stormy sky distress ink, which I also brushed on to the paper and the flowers from Hobbycraft.

I used the stamp again on to another piece of the music paper and another piece under the insert:

Pearl anniversary

This is a card that I sent my niece and husband for their 30th, Pearl Anniversary. I kept it to one layer, with no patterned paper. It's another of those card blanks with the bottom corners cut away so that some of the underneath can be revealed when used as tent style opening. I used three different washi tapes, two of which were glitter, both at the top of the card and inside. As it was a Pearl Anniversary I added plenty of pearls as well as the silver glittered 30. I used a favourite heart stamp by Stampington Company called forget me not - it has these words which I hid with the little sentiment piece which said 'Happy Anniversary to you both'. I coloured with spectrum noir pencils as alcohol pens would have shown through.

Anniversary

For this anniversary card I used a card blank that had small quadrants of circles cut out of the bottom, with the card opening tent style. I put some washi tape on the inside of the card so it could be seen each side at the bottom.

I inked the Debbi Moore Anniversary stamp with memento tuxedo black, inking the Anita's hearts stamp with versafine black and heat embossing with detail clear powder (you can just about see it's embossed by the shiny rims around the hearts, which were then coloured in with a red spectrum noir pen, using the same to ensure the mat was the same colour red, as well as the bottom of the card blank, with some washi tape above that.  With the addition of the three butterflies the card was finished.

First communion card

This is a commissioned card made some time ago for a grandson (I know my friend will recognise it). The foiled background was from Hunkydory and the cross is a Tattered lace die cut, using one of the bits from within the scrolled pieces of the cross to form a heart. I can't remember where I got the image from that was printed cut.

A commissioned card made recently for a special friend. I love crafting with purple and shades of lilac. Congratulations on the birth of a baby boy

For this commissioned card (a while ago) I used a card blank with the edge die cut to reveal some paper from the inside. Papers were from The English Paper company. Stickers from a set I bought from Hobbycraft a long time ago.
