Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper October 2020 challnege

This is my design card for my Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper October 2020 challenge. .If you make anything that includes some patterned paper you can link your entries and you might be the randomly chosen winner of the lovely prize that I'm giving away.  This was an 8 x 8 commissioned card using papers, flowers (cut down) and bow from Docrafts Papermania Parisienne blue capsule collection, with crocheted butterflies, rub on Friend, birthday greetings and a Dovecraft doily.

Another card for a cat lover

Another card for a cat lover made this morning using a silver cat on to which I put some gems around his or her neck, stickers  from Jolee added, the Dovecraft Birthday label and the cat with the glitter surround from The Works.


Just to show that the Birthday sentiment is really silver foiled:

Card for a cat lover

A birthday card for a cat lover using paper from PDA card and crafts, Dovecraft Birthday label, stickers from Jolee and the cat up in the corner from a selection from the Works. (They say the camera never lies, but the Birthday label isn't really crooked!)

Christmas trees

Two very similar cards made with papers from Poundland's Let us snow, various snowflakes and sentiments and the trees which started life as tags.

Horses and dogs

This is a commissioned card made today for a friend to send to someone who loves horses and dogs for her 70th birthday.

I used a piece of Hunkydory spotted card to make the A5 card blank. The papers were from PDA card and craft (long ago - bought lots and love using them). I printed the greeting only to a piece of Hunkydory card, shades of beige, quickly pouring on gold detail embossing powder and heating before die cutting and embossing using a todo label die, with the next size up to put behind it.

I added two bands of white with black and gold spots, the Jolee felt dog and glittered paw prints and the little dog's head.


I stamped the greeting inked with versafine black onyx and embossed with detail gold for the inside of the card, die cutting and embossing with a larger todo label die, matting this on to the insert. It's a shame that the photo doesn't show how golden it is irl.

Have a holly jolly Christmas

The background of this card is from one quarter of a 12 x 12 Papermania paper with the lovely glittered holly berries, with the addition of the three shaker globes from The Works and the added parchment sentiment.

 This is a Christmas card made with Kanban supplies, using a piece of snowy acetate over the picture of the house in a snowy scene - the acetate was secured with brads.

Similar to the previous one, this A5 tent style card uses Kanban background, a stamped poinsettia (more red than pink irl) and a glittered poinsettia topping, with other bits and pieces from stash.
