I needed to make a commissioned 8 x 8 card this morning for someone who likes playing gold. The background paper is from Paper Nation (long ago), not sure where the golfer images came from ... decoupaged. The Scrabble type letters from The Works are lovely shiny copper. The big Happy Birthday was from a set from Kanban.

Happy Christmas Grandog
This is a fun Christmas card - a request from a friend who calls her son's dog 'Grandog'. I searched and found a picture of a fallen Christmas tree and digitally added the text. I'd already used a dog that looked the same when I made another card so I digitally cut around the dog and put him into the card. It was then printed out and put on to the A5 landscape scalloped card blank.

Floral Christmas
One more card made with an 6 x 6 paper from Anna Griffin with a very similar card to one shown yesterday, this time with the Scrabble type letters from The Works and a couple of poinsettias from Italian Options.
This is for:Poinsettias
Another background paper from Anna Griffin from long ago - so nice that it doesn't need much on it and certainly wouldn't want to wide any of that gorgeous poinsettia, so I just added a couple of sprigs of holly and a glittered poinsettia from Italian Options and a sentiment.

Wishing you a happy Christmas
Another card made yesterday with an Anna Griffin 6 x 6 paper, to which I added the wooden frame with green mirror card behind it and a couple of glittered poinsettias from Italian Options. I chose to use yellow tape in my dymo letratag for the sentiment because the stamens on the flowers on the paper are yellow (although you can't really see that here).
This is for:Noel
Some time ago I bought some 6 x 6 papers from Anna Griffin - they are lovely, but I couldn't really think how to use them. This is one of them - so I added the Scrabble type letters from The Works and the holly from Italian Options. The paper itself is so lovely that it really doesn't need much added.
This is for:Loved up penguins
Still showing cards made yesterday, this one with a Kanban background from long ago with the penguins on the glittered and foiled topper, with the addition of the Merry Christmas sentiment.
This is for:Merry Christmas
Another reindeer card using another piece of Papermania paper from long ago with the silver foiled Kanban topper and the holly from Italia Options, with the addition of the Merry Christmas sentiment.
This is for:Reindeer
Another card made yesterday with some old Papermania background paper (taken from a 12 x 12) (some lovely red foiling, with the addition of two felt reindeer, glittered gold snowflakes from Italian Options and the sentiment.
Red and black with a touch of gold
Another card made yesterday using an upcycled topper from a card received (too good to put in the recycling bin), mounted on to the gold foiled paper from Crafter's Companion decorative Christmas paper pad with gold and black 3D foam snowflakes from Italian Options. I was tempted to add something else, but think it's OK as it is.
This is for:Season's greetings
I used the lovely Crafter's Companian baubles embossing folder with copper, mounted on to background paper from Crafter's Companion decorative Christmas paper pad with the addition of the glittered snowflakes from Italian Options and the sentiment.
This is for:Merry Christmas & a happy new year
Yesterday I made quite a few Christmas cards, trying to use up some that I'd started and not finished - this is one of them - a piece of unknown background paper, with a couple of little stickers and the silver foiled deer and sentiments from Kanban.

I really didn't have to do much at all for this card. The background paper is from Kaisercraft. I added the lovely reindeer (I didn't make it, but bought it at a craft fair some time ago) ... I used it because it has a button on it!! I added the Merry Christmas sentiment.

Wrapped up for winter
The background paper for this card is from Crafter's Companion Decorative Christmas paper pad and the piece across the top is from the same pad. It's difficult to see here, but there is gold foiling on both. The lovely wrapped up snowman was bought at a craft fair some time ago. I added the glittered white snowflakes from Italian Options and the sentiment.
This is for:Sending smiles across the miles
I've been asked for some 'across the miles' cards, so here is another one using a lovely glittered background upcycled with the oval pillar box topper from Hunkydory and the sending in silver generated on my dymo letratag. Then I added some silver glittered snowflakes from Italian Options and everything mounted on to a red card blank.

More baubles
Two more cards made a couple of days ago with different Kanban foiled backgrounds and the baubles embossing folder used with copper mirror card with Italian Options gold poinsettias and a sentiment.
These are for:
Stained glass mother and child
A set of five cards for a commission. I stamped the lovely Berkeley Stained glass mother and child, inked with versafine onyx black and embossed with clear detail powder. I coloured with Chameleon pens, not using the fading method with them, but just using as ordinary alcohol pens. I then cut round the images and mounted on to pearlescent white card blanks and added the sentiments that were printed with my dymo letratag labeller.
The photo doesn't do justice to the colours. I coloured the skin tones with quite a deep olive brown, but it's come out a lot lighter here. So many nativity pictures tend to show Mary and Jesus with pale skin whereas they were from an Eastern country.

Nativity
Usually, at the flats where I live, we have a McMillan coffee morning and I sell cards, lots of Christmas cards. There are friends here who are putting in requests for cards, mainly Christmas and I was asked if I had any packs of 5 - I usually make these so that they are cheaper to buy.
So, on request, I've made five cards featuring the lovely Inkadinkado nativity stamp which I inked with versamark onyx black and embossed with clear detail powder. I then die cut using a Papermania Xcut label die, using the next size to cut red mirror card and adding a sentiment to each card - then layered on to red A6 card blanks.

Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper November 2020 challenge
This was an 8 x 8 commissioned card for a granddaughter's birthday, using Hunkydory papers and toppers with a few flowers and pearls. The sentiment down the middle was created on my dymo letratag.

Happy Christmas
Another card with a topper made with copper mirror card put through the lovely baubles embossing folder mounted on to an offcut of the pink Kanban paper, with glittered poinsettias from Italian Options.
The photo is a bit strange - at an angle so that I didn't get my reflection in the mirror card.

These are my design cards for my CHNC challenge 514 - please click on the link to find out what it's all about and I hope you'll be able to join in with your Christmas designs - anything goes as long as it's Christmas with the optional theme of 'something beginning with the letter H'.
Three simple one layer cards direct to the card blank, made using complimenting stamps that were bought with my Load n Fold from Rare Earth, using two different memento greens and red, colouring the berries with pencils (so that alcohol inks didn't show through).
