CHNC challenge 577

This is my card for my CHNC challenge 577 - please click on the link to find out what it's all about and I hope you'll be able to join in with your Christmas designs - anything goes as long as it's Christmas with the optional theme of 'feature a creature (any animal}'.

This was a commissioned card requested by a friend whose relatives have a dog she calls her 'Grandog'. There was a photo of him with a floppy sun hat on, so I found a digital picture of a similar dot, put a digital hat on him and created the background with the sentiment. This was then printed out and matted on to gold mirror card with the addition of the poinsettias.

CHNC challenge 573

I'm showing three similar cards using some offcuts of Christmas papers embellished with poinsettias and a Christmas felt wreath from The Works. Two of the cards are slimline ones which open tent wise and an A6 card that opens from the side. The 'Merry Christmas' sentiments are actually dark green although they look different here.

CHNC challenge 571

This is my design card for my CHNC challenge 571 -  please click on the link to find out what it's all about and I hope you'll be able to join in with your Christmas designs - anything goes as long as it's Christmas with the optional theme of  'things with wings'.

For my card I used some free sheet music as a background, mounted on to black card, mounted on to a white card blank with the addition of some silver glitter washi tape on a cut off piece of the black card, using another piece to stamp the lovely inkadinkado angel stamped inked with versamark and heat embossed with silver detail powder.

CHNC challenge 570

This is my design card for my CHNC challenge 570 -  please click on the link to find out what it's all about and I hope you'll be able to join in with your Christmas designs - anything goes as long as it's Christmas with the optional theme of  'something beginning with the letter R'.

I created the background for my card using the lovely slimline pine cones 3D embossing folder from Lisa Horton, blrushing brown corduroy distress ink over the pine cones, matting on to a piece of red mirror card and adding the cute 3D felt reindeer from The Works and the Merry Christmas sentiment, adding on to a DL card blank.

CHNC challenge 569

This is my design card for my CHNC challenge 569 -  please click on the link to find out what it's all about and I hope you'll be able to join in with your Christmas designs - anything goes as long as it's Christmas with the optional theme of  'use some glitter'.

The background of my card is a piece of paper from a pad bought long ago in Poundland. I stamped the lovely Penny Black caroling penguins with versamark onyx black and heat embossed using detail black powder. I used a quicky glue pen for the fluffy areas on the hats, adding some sparkly glitter. I did just a bit of colouring with alcohol markers and die cut with a todo decorative oval, using a large one to create a mat with an offcut of red pearlescent card with gold glitter. I added two snippets of gold glitter tape that had been left over from a previous make. The sentiment was created with my dymo letratag label maker.

CHNC challenge 568

This is my design card for my CHNC challenge 568 -  please click on the link to find out what it's all about and I hope you'll be able to join in with your Christmas designs - anything goes as long as it's Christmas with the optional theme of  'use a button or two or more'.

For my side opening A5 card I used a couple of offcuts of Christmas double sided paper joined in the middle with a gold glittered strip, adding the gold foiled topper with the Merry Christmas added, with a couple of felt buttons at two corners.
