CHNC challenge 587

This is my card for my CHNC challenge 587 - please click on the link to find out what it's all about and I hope you'll be able to join in with your Christmas designs - anything goes as long as it's Christmas with the optional theme of 'funny'.

Background papers are from Red Christmas Paper Pad from The Works with washi tape sentiment. I inked one of my favourite fun Christmas stamps, Penny Black chill day, with versamark, embossing with black detail powder, colouring with alcohol markers, using glue pen on the white fur, sprinkling Art Institute glitter on to it.

CHNC challenge 586

This is my card for my CHNC challenge 586 - please click on the link to find out what it's all about and I hope you'll be able to join in with your Christmas designs - anything goes as long as it's Christmas with the optional theme of 'no patterned paper'.

My card is very similar to one I showed here, but with the addition of the printed greeting matted on to gold mirror card. Unfortunately, it isn't a good photo ... this was sent to my brother and sister-in- law for Christmas.

It is a DL card on to which I matted a piece of gold mirror card, on to which I mounted a piece of card that I had stamped with Lisa Horton's slimline 'so festive' inked with with versamark and heat embossing with gold detail powder, matting this on to a piece of gold mirror card, then on to the DL card blank, adding three golden poinsettias from Italian Options and the printed greeting panel.

CHNC challenge 585

This is my card for my CHNC challenge 585 - please click on the link to find out what it's all about and I hope you'll be able to join in with your Christmas designs - anything goes as long as it's Christmas with the optional theme of 'Santa Claus/Father Christmas'.

For my card I used papers from an old Basic Grey Christmas pad (think they are from Eskimo kisses, but not sure). The lovely stamped image of a vintage Santa is from the Santa collage stamp from Rubber Stampede matted on to a pink piece of card.

Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper March 2022 challenge

This is a commissioned 8 x 8 card made for someone who loves gardening. Papers and toppers are from a set I bought some time ago from Create and Craft. The background paper has been matted with a piece of vellum (sticking under the items placed on top).

CHNC challenge 583

For my card I used a piece of holographic mirror card on to which I matted a piece of green paper with Christmas words with a topper from a Create & Craft Christmas kit from a couple of years ago.

Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper February 2022 challenge

This is a commissioned 8 x 8 card made for someone who loved stitching, with extra folds in the card. Bits and pieces were added, e.g. the scissors etc on the front and the happy birthday topper used on the front was upcycled.

CHNC challenge 579

My card was made with background and toppers from a large kit bought before Christmas 2020 from Create and Craft. I made quite a few cards from the kit for that Christmas and 2021 and still have a lot left ... some of which was still out at the beginning of this year so I've made several cards with it instead of putting it away ... and this is one of them, with the addition of  a sentiment and the lovely Italian Options golden poinsettias.

CHNC challenge 577

This is my card for my CHNC challenge 577 - please click on the link to find out what it's all about and I hope you'll be able to join in with your Christmas designs - anything goes as long as it's Christmas with the optional theme of 'feature a creature (any animal}'.

This was a commissioned card requested by a friend whose relatives have a dog she calls her 'Grandog'. There was a photo of him with a floppy sun hat on, so I found a digital picture of a similar dot, put a digital hat on him and created the background with the sentiment. This was then printed out and matted on to gold mirror card with the addition of the poinsettias.
