Butterfly kisses - patchwork

I bought this patchwork paper a while ago and decided to use some on this card for the patchwork theme for Cupcake 158. I stamped two Stampotique butterflies by Janet Klein, heat embossed with silver and coloured with poppy promarker - for Passion for promarkers 116 theme: patchwork. Unfortunately, I had to resort to a scan because there was too much sheen picked up by the flash because every other square is shiny - this looks lovely irl.

This is also for this week's theme on Daring cardmakers: flutterby, where this lovely photo inspiration is given, the challenge being to use the colours and also include butterflies:

It was only after I'd finished the card and looked to see what the name of the paper is - Butterfly kisses - patchwork by NitWit Essentials - so how appropriate it was that I decided to add butterflies. I felt that I wanted to add more to the card, but I think the patchwork paper is so lovely that it would be a shame to hide too much of it.

This is also for:

Flutter by Wednesday 170: open + butterfly
PaperPlay 36: use two or more stamped images
The paper shelter 30: embossing of any kind
Stamptacular 127: the sky's the limit
Stamp something: something to say goodbye 'anything goes' (sadly, their last challenge)
Stamp dreams 97: anything goes
Creative card crew: anything goes
Crafty boots: anything goes
Stamp n doodle: anything goes
Papertake: anything goes
Ladybug: anything goes
