WOYWW 136

I know that a lot of regular visits to my blog from the WOYWW gang probably think that I'm tidy most of the time. Well, I thought I'd show you my workspace after my crafting yesterday.

WOYWW - if you don't know what I'm talking about - surely there's no one left who doesn't - then click on the link and go to Julia's blog and have a peep at everyone's workspace ... and join in the fun.

Anyway, back to my workspace, as you can see there are things all over the place, including the floor (and you can't see the other side of the room). This will be tidied up though before I start any more crafting because I like to put things back in their places and start with a clear space.

The photos aren't very clear, but perhaps that's just as well - lol! (although, if you really want to, you can click on them to enlarge).

Those who visited last week for WOYWW will remember that I showed stacks of long envies - well, I'm making a very small effort to make some more cards that are A5 folded lengthways - you can see in front of my keyboard that there are some cards ready to be done - you can only see a little peek of what's going to be put on them because they are for my CHNC challenge 55 which will go live on Saturday morning, so I'm not showing them yet. If anyone's interested in joining in and making Christmas cards throughout the year, please visit my CHNC blog - the current challenge is here.

I don't quite know how I did it, but I got round to visit most WOYWWers last week - not sure whether I'll do so well this week, but I'll try. Thank you for all those who visit me and leave comments - they are much appreciated.

  1. I can still see carpet, so that counts as tidy in my book, lol. Hope your craft day was very productive.

  6. Hazel, I feel normal! Your working room looks great, and although there's stuff out, it's still not a shambles is it..that's because you picks up and put away each time, what a discipline.

  7. It’s so reassuring to see your desk in a mess for once Hazel, I don’t feel quite so bad now, Lol!
I would love to play along with your Christmas card challenge but I really need to get this wedding order done and dusted before I start ‘playing’ again. I’ll definitely be back to play along soon though.

Thanks for stopping by this week and ……..
    Happy Crafting!

  10. Hello Hazel, doesn't look too bad to me!! In fact looks like a nice creative mess! I think I have papers and stamps that match your curtains - is it a Laura Ashley pattern? I may have to join in with your Christmas challenge - I already have 30 cards done so am feeling rather virtuous and intend to be ahead of the game again but it may not last!! Thanks for popping by to see me Cindy @ #52

  14. That is about mid-range on the disaster scale if you ask me. No need to send in search teams with ropes and guide lamps yet.

I'm with you in that I like to start with a tidied up spot. I don't always do it though as sometimes stopping to pick up kills the creative mojo.

  25. Nice to see your crafty desk with things on it. I like to be tidy but so quickly get messy and then the work area shortens. Still what is crafting about - getting messy now and then.
Thanks for sharing and for commenting on my blog - Hugs, Neet xx

  30. Now that's a true crafty space! That is usually the way mine looks too. I had Christmas and New Years here as well as one other celebration so I found it hard to do anything because I didn't want to keep making a mess and tidying during the holidays - no time! Now...I have no excuse and I'm going to get craftmessy! So excited! Thanks for the visit!
