Suzie's 365 photos days 163: aged

I had to chuckle when I saw Suzie's photo prompt for today - day 163: aged - there was no way that I was going to put a photo of myself, although that would certainly be fine for 'aged', then I thought of showing a photo of John, who is older than me .... but in the end I've opted to show a photo of my oldest cookery book which was given to me in 1964 - you can tell that it has been well used:

I thought I'd just show you a peep inside - at the time this book was published pressure cookers were being used quite a bit (I confess that I was never keen because of all the steam ... scary!!) - before the age of microwaves.

A lot of the information is outdated now, but there are lots of recipes that are still very useful to refer to - the book still gets used from time to time.
