WOYWW 160

Wednesday has come round again and that means it's time to show our workspaces to everyone else in cyberspace, particularly those that eagerly follow WOYWW 160, the brainchild of Julia that is so popular now that even if one posts early the number is likely to be on the high side.

Firstly, thanks to Carol for this lovely ATC that she sent me.I was on holiday in Eastbourne when WOYWW celebrated its third birthday, so I missed out on the 'official' swap, but some kind WOYWWers volunteered to swap with me since. Thank you, Carol.

Regular visitors to my blog will know that I make a lot of Christmas cards (as well as lots of other cards) - I blogged six yesterday. I have my own Christmas challenge blog (CHNC - if you haven't come across it, please do go and have a look and join in if you can) and I also try to enter as many other Christmas challenges as I can to support them.

So on my desk today you can see mainly Christmas stuff, having received a Hunkydory kit from C & C. Because I make a lot to sell for charity I need to make some that are easy to put together, although to be honest I prefer to make ones that involve stamping, inking etc.

I was able to get round to see a lot of workspaces last Wednesday - I wonder how I'll do this week?!? It's lovely to see variety of talent and creativity as well as marvel at the organisation of people's crafting spaces.

Thanks for all the visits and comments I received - much appreciated.

  5. Fab ATC - and I spy some very nice IndigoBlu stamps on your desk. You are the reason why I am now making several Xmas cards each week - thank you! I nearly gave into temptation and got that Hunkydory deal - but had spent far too much on inkpads/Pan Pastels/Nigel May's CD-Roms/Flutter Glu Starter Kit/Xmas stamps ... already. Just seen the preview of the Crafters Companion Xmas CD-rom, and NEED that (POTD on Friday night). Ali x #70

  6. Nice to see that Christmas stuff - reminds me I need to start earlier this year than in previous ones to save the usual rush.
Lovely atc - Steampunk - love it!

Carry on CHristmas Crafting - you'll be laughing in December while I'm crying :)

  21. Your an inspiration Hazel! Since I've decided to make cards (again) I will make some Christmas cards for a few special people in my life. I must admit, though, that I'll wait for the first snowfall to do so!

  22. Great atc, nice to feel that you got something even though you couldn't take part, I was in the same boat. Always wondered what you did with those three million cards you make every year!! Good for you selling them for charity and helping others. Have a great week.

  25. Lovely ATC - I do like Steampunk, maybe it's the result of having been dragged to various steam train museums when my boys were younger!! There's something about cogs and pistons!!!

  29. Will have to check out your Christmaschallenges! I know what you mean about 'easy' ones. I make a lot of Christmas cards and usually choose at least one very simple design that I can replicate quickly.

Thanks for popping by to see me - by the way anytime you want an ATC trade feel free to contact me! Cindy #14

  30. I love steampunk and alternative crafting images, great job on the ATC! Is that the Hunkydory Blockbuster? It's a mega bundle, I seriously had to stop myself buying it because I've still got tons of christmas stash left over from last year!!! Although it gets harder to resist. Debs #146

  31. How fun! A steampunk ATC! If I were a good person I would start to think about Christmas cards now. However, I think I'll just take the easy way out and embrace my evil side. I am so impressed by those who can do it so early. I love the card kits you have there. Maybe if I had something like that to inspire me....

  32. You are the Queen of Christmas! I don't make that many since the twinks came along and we do a family portrait card to send out to family and friends. But I still have a lot of Christmas stuff and am enjoying seeing all your cards and others. I have a feeling I'll be making some this year as it gets closer. Have a great week! Darnell #55

Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog - thankfully I am now feeling a lot better after a rubbish week health wise, but I brought it on myself by overdoing it recently. Worth it though, because I really enjoyed the craft show!
