CCAYR October challenge: monochromatic browns


This is my design card for Christmas cards all year round October challenge: monochromatic browns. I'm in the Christmas Belles group so we are posting here today - please click on the link to see the lovely crafting of the rest of the Belles group. The Gingerbread gals posted at the beginning of October here - please have a look at their lovely designs and join in our challenge there.

For my card I used the lovely Stampendous snowy postcard stamp, inked with memento, with torn edges inked with distress inks. Papers are from Kaisercraft merry & bright pad, on to a dark brown card blank, some with torn edges from offcuts.

    Hazel, what a beautiful Christmas card you have made here which fits perfectly the Lemon Shortbread Monthly Challenge this fortnight. This stamp was made popular a few years' back and no matter what I couldn't manage to get hold of one and was so disappointed as it is such a beautiful image.
