CHNC challenge 366

For my card I used part of a kit purchased long ago. My things beginning with S: swirls, sentiments, sparkle, scallops, spots ...

CHNC challenge 365


This is my card for my CHNC challenge 365 - please click on the link to find out what it's all about and I hope you'll be able to join in with your Christmas designs - anything goes as long as it's Christmas with the optional theme of using the word Christmas.

For my card I used an offcut piece of embossed mirri card, which had been embossed using an Embossalicious star of wonder folder. The image is a digital one called snow family, a retired image from Beccy's Place.

Penny's challenge 360

I used QKR Stampede's picking a tree image, kindly supplied by them as a sponsor of the challenge. I coloured with spectrum noir pens before mounting on to an offcut of red card, using other Christmas offcuts and a lovely glittered sentiment circle from stash.

CHNC challenge 364

For my card I used an unknown piece of paper for the background with an upcycled glittered picture from an old card, mounted on to a piece of matt silver card, the addition of the silver padded star and the sentiment.

CCAYR December challenge: ANYTHING GOES as long as it's Holiday-related


This is my design card for Christmas cards all year round December challenge: ANYTHING GOES as long as it's Holiday-related. I'm in the Christmas Belles group so we are posting here today - please click on the link to see the lovely crafting of the rest of the Belles group. The Gingerbread gals posted at the beginning of December here - please have a look at their lovely designs and join in our challenge there.

This was a commissioned card, using a background paper from a Craftwork Cards Christmas past kit and various other elements from The Works, including the lovely wooden heart. I printed the sentiment on Centura pearl card and managed to sprinkle silver detail powder quickly to heat emboss. I then cut with a todo die, mounted on the doily, adding the little pearls.

I used a shaped card base and glittered die cuts from a kit that I bought a long time ago, plus a couple of glittered 3D snowflakes from The Works.

I used Bugaboo Stamps snowflake penguin, kindly supplied by them as one of the sponsors of the challenge.I coloured the image digitally using Microsoft Paint before printing and mounting on to an offcut of back card, using a couple of other offcuts and greetings from my Christmas stash.

For my card I used part of a kit that I bought ages ago with some sparkly 3D snowflakes from The Works - more sparkle on the tree that doesn't show up here.

I used Little blue button strawberry cupcake colored image, kindly supplied by them as sponsor of the challenge. I digitally added the sentiment before printing, using sentiment background papers, gold strips and some padded fabric strawberries.

I admit that this is one of the quite quick cards that I've made in the last few days, trying desperately to have enough ready to send out, as well as cope with orders that I've received for more. The paper etc is from a kit bought long ago.

Love to craft 17 December challenge


This is my design card for Love to craft challenge 17 December anything goes - please click on the link to see the lovely crafting of the rest of the team and to enter our challenge.

This was a commissioned card, using an old Jolly Nation decoupaged gardening man, a decorated oval, an offcut of yellow gingham card on to a piece of JN gardening man paper, with the addition of lots of 3D little toppers and the sentiment pieces.

For my card I used one of Lozzy's Pastel Christmas papers - you can see Lozzy's lovely papers here - so many delightful papers - and you have the chance to win some by entering the challenge.

The main topper with the robins and holly was from an Anna Griffin kit from long ago and the 3D Christmas rose and the lovely glittery painted wooden Noel from The Works.

Bugaboo Stamps always generously sponsor my CHNC challenge extra and provide images for the team to use and showcase. The image I've used is Peace love joy angel. This was backed with a piece of Craftwork Cards Christmas past paper on to a piece of Anna Griffin from a kit a few years ago.


Craftyhazelnut's patterned paper December 2017 challenge


This is my design card for my Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper November 2017 challenge - please click on the link to see the inspirational designs by my team and we hope you will join in our challenge using some patterned paper.

I used papers from a Blue print design pad from The Works, cutting some pictures out from one piece and layering with foam pads to lift from the background paper, with the lovely dress form, heart and vases from a kit bought some time ago from Craftwork cards.. I then used a lovely little unknown stamp that I bought when I first started making cards (probably about the year 2000), inking with memento Paris dusk, stamping on two or three times on the tops of the vases.
