CCAYR February challenge: mainly red
This is my design card for Christmas crafts all year round February challenge: mainly red. I'm in the Christmas Belles group so we are posting here today - please click on the link to see the lovely crafting of the rest of the Belles group. The Gingerbread gals posted at the beginning of February here - please have a look at their lovely designs and join in our challenge there.
This was a commissioned card made in December, but not blogged. The background paper and sentiment topper are from a lovely Craftwork Cards Christmas past collection. The sentiment was computer generated, printed on to Centura pearl white card with a hint of silver - I quickly covered with silver detail embossing powder and heated. This was cut and embossed with a todo die. Doily, crocheted flowers, pearls and felt deer were added from stash.
This is also for:
12 months of Christmas February: anything goes
The merry Christmas 7: anything goes
A vintage journey February: melt it - embossing
Crimbo crackers 152: anything goes
Crafty animals 11: anything goes
2 crafty critter crazies 11: anything goes animals
The cat's pajamas 343: include an animal
Dragonfly dreams February: flowers
Simon says Wednesday: add a die cut
Cut it up 141: layers of love
Die cut divas February: love is in the air
As you like it: favourite way to add a sentiment and why - I like to print on card, die cut/emboss - think it looks professional
Pile it on 139: 3D embellishments
4 crafty chicks 390: lots of layers
Noor February: celebrations
Inspiration destination 144: anything goes
Eclectic Ellapu February: anything goes
