Love to craft challenge 21 April

As you know, I made the hard decision to step down from DT work because of John's health, but I had already prepared this card and Leslie graciously suggested that I still show it for April.

So this is my card for Love to craft challenge 21 April: anything goes - please click on the link to see the lovely crafting of the rest of the team and to enter our challenge.

This was a commissioned card (I know it was well received with pleasure). The background piece of card is some I've had for some time. I criss crossed the card with glitter and washi tapes before mounting the lovely big stamped image using the Keys to Music stamp by Troy Crisswell (Stamps Happen), coloured with spectrum noir pens, cut out and matted on to toning card. I used a piece of that card to run through the printer for the sentiment (sorry, not very clear here) - as this was a slightly shiny card I was able to quickly throw some silver embossing powder on the print out and heat it.The flowers were from Hobbycraft, originally white, but brushed lightly with stormy sky distress ink.
