WOYWW 472

If you don't know what I'm talking about, the head over to WOYWW 472 at Julia's lovely blog and find out ... and I hope you'll join in the fun.

I'm joining in early today (trying to keep up with this every week now) because John has an appointment at  Guy's hospital today and it's an early start (and even earlier the next day).

Anyway, on the left hand side of my desk you can see stamps that have been used this week, but need cleaning ... I'm still waiting for a fairy to appear and do the job - lol! I'd rather get on and make more cards.

The right hand side isn't anymore exciting - piles of card that have been made this week, a few bits waiting to be used and some essentials - the ATG gun that I wouldn't want to be without, a couple of boxes, my mobile  ... nothing very exciting, except that pile of cards represents quite a lot of crafting during this past week ... I'm not really sure how I've achieved all that ... just take an opportunity here and there to make something.

When I can I'll visit some of the blogs linked for WOYWW 472 and I hope you will too.

  1. I sincerely believe you have more stamps on your desk than I own! I like your setup, and my mouse is exactly like yours. I just hope your Logitech keyboard works better than mine. Happy WOYWW from #1.

  3. Hi Hazel, I must admit that I follow Tim Holtz's approach with stamps; they don't get cleaned unless they've had Stazon on them (and I never use Stazon lol). That's quite a pile of cards that you've achieved. Hope the hospital appointments go well. Sarah #19

  4. It's lovely to see you back on the desks Hazel, it must be tricky finding time when you're so busy with your hubby - hope his appts go well by the way. Stamp cleaning is the pits isn't it? I don't do much card making but try to clean up as I go along.

  5. Morning Hazel. Good to see you again. Goodness - you have been busy! I rarely manage little bursts of time - I set a whole day or two aside and go mad - then the phone rings, or the doorbell - and I don't achieve quite as much as I hoped. Oh well, there we go.
    Take care. God bless.

  7. I hope Jon's appointments go well. I am rubbish at stamp cleaning and should really put more effort into it so I am impressed that you are waiting to do it. Have a good week. Caro x (#24)

  12. Hi Hazel. The tidying up is the worst part of crafting and I really need to do some as it's getting to the stage where I can't find stuff because it's not been put back so I can relate to that. Good collection of cards at yours though. Thanks for the visit to mine and have a very happy WOYWW, Angela x22x

  14. You have been busy, Hazel, making all those cards. I've hardly done anything in my studio lately but at least have got back to it now, making a single card lol! Hope your John will be OK and that the hospital appointment went well. Thank you for your visit - 100 years young really describes the lady very well - she's quite amazing for her age. I finished the cross stitch today and now just have to tidy up the back, and then I can get on with the card - I'm sure I'll finish it all by Saturday! Phew. Busy time.

    Happy WOYWW,

  17. You've just reminded me I have an ATG gun, I got into the habit of using glue from Honey Doo. I noticed some things I had used tape on have now dried up and fallen off so i think that is why I stopped using it.
Hope the hospital visit went ok for John.
Hugs & Thanks for visiting me

  18. That's a lovely big pile of cards there - you have been busy! I always clean my stamps as I go and have a packet of cheap baby wipes on hand, it makes the job easier than taking them on bulk to a sink! Hope you have a great week and apologies for being late in getting round,

  19. Psst, I never clean my stamps - only if I use them with acrylic paints as that would ruin them, but when using them with ink pads, I never bother. The most I do is I stamp them repeatedly on scrap paper to get rid of most of the ink. Thanks for your visit yesterday! zsuzsa #26

  22. Hi Hazel, sorry for the late visit, I'm still trying to catch up after a very hectic week! That's an impressive pile of cards you have there, you must have been very busy - you still look very tidy and organised though, it would be mayhem in there if I'd made that many cards :o) Annie C #18

  23. Ah yes the cleaning fairy, I think she has gone on summer holiday (or looking at the state of mine maybe retired!).
