To my sister


Not to my sister (because I haven't got one - lol!), but a commissioned card for a sister's birthday, using a piece of background card from Crafting.co.uk, adding an upcycled topper with the flowers the scalloped edged birthday circle and the large 'to my sister' from Kanban. The die cut butterfly has sequins at the centre.

Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl


This was a commissioned card for a baby girl - I was asked for it to be pink and personalised. The background paper is a 6 x 6 piece cut from a DCWV 12 x 12 with added pieces from my baby things box. The crib was die cut on the Scan n Cut from the Glitc & Glam Scattered lace USB, using a piece of flocked patterned pink paper to give a bit of texture to the card.

CCAYR February challenge: mainly red


This is my design card for Christmas crafts all year round February challenge: mainly red. I'm in the Christmas Belles group so we are posting here today - please click on the link to see the lovely crafting of the rest of the Belles group. The Gingerbread gals posted at the beginning of February here - please have a look at their lovely designs and join in our challenge there.

This was a commissioned card made in December, but not blogged. The background paper  and sentiment topper are from a lovely Craftwork Cards Christmas past collection. The sentiment was computer generated, printed on to Centura pearl white card with a hint of silver - I quickly covered with silver detail embossing powder and heated. This was cut and embossed with a todo die. Doily, crocheted flowers, pearls and felt deer were added from stash.

This is my design card for Penny's challenge 367 - please click on the link to see the lovely crafting by the rest of the team and we hope you will join in our 'anything goes' challenge.

I used the lovely All Dressed up ballet shoes - I coloured the red digitally in Microsoft Paint and the rest of the colouring with spectrum noir pens once I'd printed and cut the image. The background was free from the internet here. Felt buttons and bow from stash.

Play it cool


For this 8 x 8 I used a background from Daphne's Dairy, adding the delicious ice cream houses (think it was from another mag, but can't remember), bunting, padded cherries and strawberries from stash and the beautifully cute bear is one that I won from Leinzlove Tear Bears challenge for May 2016 (you can read about it here). I loved this so much that I never wanted to use her, but decided in the end that it would be good to add to this card. (Sadly, the Leinzlove challenges stopped a while back ... I miss them).

Mystery girl


I don't know where I got the girl cut out from (have a few of these), but thought it would go nicely on a piece of Laura Ashley paper (from long ago), with some lace, some flowers (like a cotton mesh), the Anna Griffin greeting square and a few pearls to finish the flowers.

For mum


This card was made with Hunkydory supplies, including the luscious dresses topper from one of their Little Books. Sorry that the photo is poor and the card has gone now, so I can't take another. The 'Mum@ at the bottom of the card was cut on Cricut (long ago!). Flowers from Hobbycraft, sentiment from Craftwork and padded heart from stash.

Happy birthday son


This is a simple card made to send to my brother from mum (she is now 96 with severe dementia, so can't do this for herself) last month. I stamped the music background using a large foam stamp bought years ago from QVC (when craft was high on their priorities). I added the washi tape from Paperchase and string down the side and the greetings.
