First communion card

This is a commissioned card made some time ago for a grandson (I know my friend will recognise it). The foiled background was from Hunkydory and the cross is a Tattered lace die cut, using one of the bits from within the scrolled pieces of the cross to form a heart. I can't remember where I got the image from that was printed cut.

Purple birthday card

A commissioned card made recently for a special friend. I love crafting with purple and shades of lilac. Everything on to a square card blank.

For this commissioned card (a while ago) I used a card blank with the edge die cut to reveal some paper from the inside. Papers were from The English Paper company. Stickers from a set I bought from Hobbycraft a long time ago.

A card I made recently using a La Blanche lily stamp inked with memento tuxedo black and coloured with spectrum noir pencils (I used pencils instead of alcohol pens, so nothing showed through as it was stamped directly to the card blank. I stamped the corners with Penny Black corner piece stamp inked with memento grape jelly and used the Penny Black floral silhouette stamp between the corners. I used a With Sympathy stamp with the same ink, masking off one word so I could stamp top and bottom.

CHNC challenge 503

This is my design card for my CHNC challenge 503 -  please click on the link to find out what it's all about and I hope you'll be able to join in with your Christmas designs - anything goes as long as it's Christmas with the optional theme of  'for a lady or girl'.

This was a commissioned card made for last Christmas, but not blogged before now, for a neighbour friend's granddaughter - I was asked to include a white card and found this lovely image. Papers were from Dovecraft's Festive Wonder paper pack. The little presents and trees and the red gems were from The Works, the sentiment was created on my dymo letratag.

Blossoms and butterflies

I saw the lovely vibrant colour pallette for The Paper Players 503:

and liked the look of it, so this card is for that, hoping that the colours are near enough. I used a couple of pieces of paper from The Works with some butterflies and a sentiment panel added - clean and simple.

Birthday bowls

A card made a while ago for a bowls lover's birthday using Paper Nation background paper, a piece of offcut paper to mat the image which had been stamped with the Personal Impressions bowler and coloured with spectrum noir alcohol pens. This was raised up with 3D foam. Then the sentiment was added and some gems.

The Lord is my strength and my song

Before the pandemic I was asked to make some cards with scripture verses on - I usually have boxes of cards for sale at church, but, of course, sadly we haven't been meeting at church since lockdown, so my boxes of cards are sitting there waiting.

Quite a long while ago I bought a couple of packs of postcards with matching envelopes from TKMaxx, thinking that they would come in handy one day. So I used on of the cards on the white card blank and one of the envelope fronts to run through the printer with the scripture verse ...  and then wrote the reference by hand. The little burlap birds came from The Works.

Happy anniversary

Similar to some others I've shown recently, a CAS card using a Kanban white card blank with silver hearts with a window showing the foiled card inside it with the Happy Anniversary topper upcycled from an old card. The pastel pink embossed circles in the corners came from a wedding pack from Hobbycraft.
